I got my hydrolink extreme yesterday so I have tried the same rig with that, quite pleased not as stiff as the mouth trap but a lot more subtle

I've been having a good play with this one recently, and I've really started to see the benefit of using the mouth trap doubled over like the multi rig, its solid as a rock, I don't think it would budge if blown out, i pulled one at both ends last night with hook pullers and the hook snapped before the chod link naturally I will put a boom on it but I think this one will be tough to eject, can't wait to try it now 🤔

I'm setting myself up with a lightweight roving, and mixed species day kit. Given that my plans to fish Bluebell properly this year have been ruined by a massive influx of campers I've had a rethink and buzzing for it, first off was a local canal Perch next up a river Soar Barbel.

I just fish a pop up over worms. When you get them going on naturals it really doesnt matter what you have on the rig imo. It will be taken.

Something didn't feel right, so I moved several hundred yards, I'm only putting out a few freebies in pva mesh with the hook bait. Every 15-20 minutes, I'm adjusting the zig. Feel a little bit more confident 😏

You couldn't write the timing on my part lol Now you have to collect a bucket off them - get a sticker with your name and reg on and off you go to find that killer peg that's not available! Brilliant - like a game show, running round wiv buckets, moving other peoples and pinching their peg lol Can you imagine the agro ticking off, pressure for pegs and extra noddies galore. My mate had free pegs either side of him on the first sunday on Mallard, I've no idea why he wanted 50 buckets! 🤣
