    Particle vs boilie

Well, 2nd trip on new lake. Had one on boilie, one on solid bag with liquids and pellets. One on particles, guess which went! Particle! Typical! Can't show pic as them the rules! Yonny,Greekskii, yes I totally agree with what you say. But after speaking again to a couple of regulars who have not caught in their last 4 trips on boilie approach. They are fed twice a week on pellet n maize. It's what they're used to a consider it a safe feed I guess? Put some more of my concoction in tonight ready for a day sesh Saturday. We shall see...

  5. For years Terry Hearn used black Amnesia as his boom on stiff hinge links, because it lay well, even though fluorocarbon was available. I still use clear Amnesia in 15 and 20lb for mono hooklinks. My braids and coated braids are from Kryston before they were sold by Dave Chilton. I bought plenty when I heard the sale was going through, so I have Merlin, Snakebite and Mantis in the 'original' colours (Merlin changed years ago from an olive green and white to a black white and green configuration). Don't convince yourself you need your hooklinks to be totally camouflaged, nylon hooklinks are as good as any on the lakebed, only the abrasion resistance is suspect. The Mantis Gold I use is a charcoal grey almost black colour, and Snakebite is green.

    Lo pro vs tempest brolly

I sold most of it. I've just kept the basics stuff. Well see what happens. But so far no regards I'd say it been a good 6 months since I've done a night or anything really fishing related. But I've refound my love for love distance running. And I'm still climbing loads so I'm outside enjoying whats out here.

    Thought of the Day pt.2

There's a £2k drone on the deck of a big pit in France I used to fish once a year. Of course if the "angler" could actually cast a rod (he used a bait boat too) he'd have stood a chance of retrieving it on rod/line😂

    Thought of the Day pt.2

people will be swimming out to retrieve downed drones in the middle of the lakes because of their value which has huge H&S implications flying them around too low and crashing them being an idiot with it to annoy others drone wars in the sky between anglers using them to fish out of you swim and unsafe areas as people do with bait boats privacy issues noise its illegal to do without the proper permissions (leaseholders dont cut it I dont think, has to be the landowner) looks like there is a few reasons..

It's because some fisheries cater for real anglers😉

    Critique my rig...

Very tidy rig wallet, mine is much dirtier haha! Finished the day with a 2nd fish on the combi 360 rig with a pineapple pop up. Safe to say that one worked really well. Had nothing all day on pepperami on a full braid hooklink

Get on that Highy. I've wanted to get one, great way to find the fish on a big water, then using a hook or claw type thing drop the rig!! Excellent use of technology, some may say cheating, but it's an advancement of the Bait boats. I've noticed a few fisheries have banned them already, can't say as I can see why?
