My legs might be warm, I'm not cold, but my feet... The overtrousers come off as I get into the sleeping bag. I struggle getting waders on full stop! 21 minutes ago, kevtaylor said: I'll worry about that when it happens lol Can get into my waders with the sallopettes on but not done it during battle, my waders have quite a high boots so not ideal. Its the night time bites that are the worst for me, during the day I keep the waders next to the rods so I just slip my trainers off and step into them, but at night I keep them in front of my bedchair so I can slip them on as I get out of bed. Usually if it's a slow take I can get them on without issue but when it's a one toner, getting them on totally leave my mind and I'm running down over stones in my socks, then find myself walking back up the bank with rod in hand trying to get them from the bivvy and put them on. Can be a right nightmare 🤣🤣 yonny and salokcinnodrog 2 Quote

You can't tell from the description. It says "Fully insulated by 120gm2 wadding", but it doesn't say what the wadding is. There are loads of good synthetic technical insulations available, normally trademarked by brand (Primaloft is a common one), and there are various none synthetic downs available (such as goose down). I would guess that Prologic, who don't actually make clothes (rather they have them made in China), are not using highly technical insulations. Imo you want to avoid fishing brands. jh92 1 Quote

Thanks yonny I'll give them a miss 👍 I think im gonna get a set of waterproof trousers and a jacket, I find the gear I got keeps me warm enough but it's not waterproof lol. My biggest issue is feet and I'm a struggling with what to wear lol. The lake I'm on at the moment the swims are flooded, I can get away with wellies but wearing them for most of the day and not getting cold damp feet is a struggle 🤣 can you recommend anything that I can put in them lol, I've got these socks designed for wellies but they don't seem that good lol. I still use these now as the insulation is the nuts, but, like any boots, they only work if the legs are super warm. Warm legs feed the feet with warm blood. jh92 1 Quote
