B B
A sad day Iv had to retire my Nash rucksack 😔…. But it’s turned into a happy day as Iv replaced it with a Drennan Specialist 40ltr. I tried my flask in the side pocket in the tackle shop and it just fits so passed the test 👍 I like how the waterproof base material extends up the sides of the pockets, which most tackle companies don’t have. £60 elmoputney

kevtaylor
Not bought yet but found out I can buy a spare tip section for my Tackle Box Spod Rod for £34 and £12 delivery, not bad for a £170+ rod that I was gonna chuck away. Will have a perfect spare spod rod now, 2 the same 👍 B B and elmoputney

With Grandparents at moment, there's something everyday that needs seeing to because of the other week..... Life in general at the moment seems monotonous. Work is reaaaaaly getting to me, been bought out by some investors, Name Chamge coming, Pay gone from Fortnightly to monthly, also pushing for a pay rise. Football (with being sons full time team coach) is hectic, sorting games, training, parents questions. Time, bot even enough minutes in a day, days in a week or weeks in a month. Past 2 weekends wife has been away, just didn't have any interest in going 😞😞 crusian

Its all about safe guarding now, unless you are CRB checked, gone through FA Safe Gurding course (that's just to help on pitches) then if you want to help in training, you have to be FA affiliated and it took me 3+ months and about £200+ before I could even start fully training with the lads. Its happened to 1 club last week and they've come back as a different club/team too. The manager went away on holiday for 2 weeks and asked his brother step in for him, the club found out and as he isn't check by the club, but his own other team, they investigated and didn't want the other manager back also. Not used the larger ones though as not needed the range. Also used a normal controller on the river for chub when floater fishing in a slightly faster current when you need to keep dog biscuit in the right line kevtaylor

They say the biggest one gives best bolt action but it feels weird on a light set-up I must admit, I like the 30g version, shame they didn't have any of the 50g. My mates got the 2.75 ESP floater rod but says it's too soft, I'm looking at the Fox Horizon XT in 3lb, maybe 2.75. I should add my current floater setup cast like a pig last time out, not sure whats going on, line or reel tbh so both can go along with the rod which is an Abu Garcia from years ago - prob 2.5lb, nothing wrong with that tbh but new would be nice. salokcinnodrog
B B
Bits and bobs from Bank Tackle just under £14 thought I’d give them a go as you all go on about them…the quality looks good and at a fair price 👍 The Fox bobbin weights were £5 delivered.. kevtaylor

For smaller waters I use a cut down match rod that I snapped a foot off the end 😞 great rod for carp low doubles even use a spinner rod, On the over end of the scale Iv used a big Nash controller had to be over 3oz could have been 4 oz ? with a 3lb carp rod on linnar man that float could fly 😳 …sadly I remember my mate playing a good fish on Oxlease in the bay at the back of the island using a floater rod it was bent double folded right over just couldn’t do anything with it and snapped him… he actually threw the rod into into the air landing it in a blackberry bush.. I got ripped to pieces trying to get it out 🙄…happy days 😄 kevtaylor
