B B
You get to keep one rod from your vast array of rods, what is it and why did you pick it Greys Prodigy twin tip 12ft rod it’s got a 1.5lb and a 2lb top section with a cork handle I always use the 1.5lb top as it’s well balanced the other tip is to top heavy I find Iv used it for Barbel, Bream and for floater work for Carp, spinning for Pike and Mackerel… it covers a lot of uses and does it well
framey
None of my current rods lol if I could go back it would be either my 2 old fox green barbel rods 1 1/2lb tc or the old masterline John Wilson Avon quiver rod that everyone had when we were growing up. or dam 11 ft quicksilver carp rod 2lb tc my first “proper” carp rod my reel would be my ltd edition youngs centre pin bought for me by my mrs years ago for Xmas my landing net would be my north western I still have that but the pole I snapped which was an ultra cult reverse taper carbon handle Edited November 6, 2022 by framey B B

I use it for fishing for roach, bream, chub, tench, carp etc. It slings out feeders, light ledger weights, surface fishing dog biscuits, float fishing, pretty much everything, and does it well. I've landed 20lb carp, 2lb roach and 5lb chub on it. Lovely rod! Reel wise, stuck between my Marco Cortesi Centrepin or a Shimano 4000 fighting drag. Carpbell3
Even though I haven't had a waggler rod out in years that's definitely the one and I might just treat myself to a 13 foot Harrison in a 1lb and a half test or there abouts get some large rings on it to handle 10lb line you can fish for near anything with that on any water. newmarket
It’s nothing special, we’ll it is to me , but it’s an old Ron Thompson Avon rod with Feeder attachments etc . I use it ( obviously) for feeder fishing , surface work and float fishing for whatever comes along . Dunno how much it cost at the time , it wasn’t expensive, but it’s a proper Jack of all trades and I love it . Used it recently with my well old Mitchell 320 reel and landed everything from small silvers through to upper double Carp . A great tool and goes to show that you don’t need to spend fortunes on all these specialist rods to enjoy a days fishing. salokcinnodrog and B B

I think my favourite rod would be my 9ft. fibreglass Seeker rod with its beautiful all through action . I've also got a cane rod that I hardly ever use , I just love having it , and sometimes I just take it out of its' bag to admire it . 😃 B B

I had a solid fibreglass as a kid that was a upgrade from a handmade stick of bamboo with the eyes made out of bent hairclips Like the song says …’O happy days’ crusian
elmoputney
I think the best rod I had the most fun with was my 9ft ledger rod (leeda) it was great for freelining dog biscuits and did most other stuff too but caught me loads of pb's up to 17lb, I had a nice quiver tip rod before that one but my mate was swinging it about and the tip went out into the middle of a lake at Emberton Park 😂
