  1. I’ll admit mine is spoilt rotten and has the run of the house, I’m glad I’m not alone πŸ‘πŸ˜‚. I’m for ever buying new treats and toys πŸ˜‚ Fair play mate I wish you the best of luck they look so cute πŸ˜†πŸ˜‚, I doubt I will get a puppy again they are too much for me πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ mine was the spawn of Satan when it was a puppy, it would give you a nip, you say ouch and it would get even more excited and nip even more/harder πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ thankfully it’s mellowed out now but the first 6 months were pure chaos πŸ˜‚ it had all the toys, I spent ages playing with her but she would still wreck stuff, steal shoes or socks when you weren’t looking and chew holes in them πŸ˜‚ has yours started the puppy nipping/ biting yet? πŸ˜†
  2. Not sure what they are selling these days, but check out cyprinus, they do some awesome stuff at really good prices. I got a cyprinus fast and light system from them which is actually the Aqua fast and light, even turned up in the Aqua box lol. Amazing system, it’s all I use these days. If you can get your hands on one I would highly recommend it πŸ‘
  3. Good luck with 2 puppies at once mate one is a handful πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I remember someone speaking about litter mate syndrome, apparently it’s quite common when you get two from the same litter lol might be worth reading in to πŸ‘ I can still remember the first night, I was told to let the puppy cry it out, by midnight I couldn’t take it anymore and went to see to her only to find her to have crapped in the crate and get covered in it. I had to give her a bath in the middle of the night πŸ˜‚ since then she just stays on the end of the bed πŸ˜‚
  4. Do you prefer to fish a matching pop up to the free fed boilies or do you go for something different?
  5. Kind of wish I did now πŸ˜‚ the hangover ain’t too bad but deffo should of went fishing instead πŸ˜‚
  6. Had a walk around my local pond, seen these beauties and no one fishing. Might grab the rods and listen to the football on the radio instead of pub πŸ˜†πŸ˜‚
  7. I think you get two types of anglers on the water. Ones that do laps of the lake, constantly watching the water, willing to move onto fish in the middle of the night because they’ve heard them crashing on the other side of the lake. Then you get the ones who want to bivvy up, put a bed of bait out and wait for the fish to move onto the bait then sit in the bivvy for the day, playing on the phones/reading books etc. I find the ones who are watching the water all day, putting in the hard work usually do a lot better πŸ‘
  8. So this morning I set my Fox Royale Classic bivvy up to take some pictures of it to list on gumtree. Upon packing away I instantly remembered why I never use it πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ its bordering on impossible to fold up πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈNot sure if it’s because it’s a pram hood design but it’s a pain in the ass πŸ˜‚ managed to get packed away, good luck to the new ownerπŸ˜‚ anyone else used one before or have this trouble??
  9. Cracking fish mate I know right, some of the places they fish is amazing. sane, I think it will be interesting to see what happens in the future πŸ‘
  10. Their enthusiasm always puts me in the mood to go fishing πŸ‘πŸ˜‚ the guy jumping up and down when he netted the carp for Ali was spot on πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  11. Its very annoying mate πŸ˜‚ when I had the take I was using the less is more approach, I was fishing the bottom bait with 4 boilies around it. I’m gonna try singles next time πŸ‘
  12. It’s making me question everything mate. Same bait and the day before when I had a take, sticky krill. I know it works. I had the fish in front of me last night I seen several carp, just don’t understand why they didn’t get their heads down. my baits are going on some hard spots, about a foot off the island. I’m wondering if it’s because I’m not getting it close enough.. bait boat would help πŸ‘πŸ˜‚ Then in questioning the rigs I’m using, I’ve recently made a change. I’ve been trying out a slip D rig with a bait screw. It was nailing the bream every time on res. If it’s hooking them well enough, shouldn’t be a problem hooking the carp? Might have to go back to the basic knotless knot rig for bottom baits and try that again lol
  13. Fished until 11 last night...blank 😭 thinking about buying one of them bait boats with sonar on it πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ COVID jab has made me feel well rough today, headache, whole body is stiff/aching, feels like a got a bad cold πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈπŸ˜‚
  14. I was watching the Korda lads the other day and they were crimping the swivel to have a running lead clip setup with the spinner rig, watching your video has now made me wonder if they’ve had any swivels break on them because of crimping πŸ€”πŸ€”
  15. Yeah mate when I had my first jab my arm was pretty soar for a few days. The jab I had this morning I didn’t even feel the needle go in, couple hours later on starting to get a dead arm feeling. πŸ˜‚ fished for 3 hours this morning fish didn’t want to know, all basking on the surface, so came home for a few hours and will go back about 5ish. Yesterday evening seemed like bite time, the lad next swim down from me had 2 while I was fishing so will try the same time again today πŸ‘
  16. Cheers mate I ended up using a back to back grinner knot, it did the job but I’ll check the one you posted πŸ‘πŸ‘
  17. Exactly mate I was gonna go this evening but going in the next hour or so instead. Got my jab at 9.25 then it’s straight to the pond πŸ‘
  18. I’m having some really bad luck with the carp at the moment πŸ˜‚ had one bump off at the res 2 sessions ago. Then went yesterday evening for a few hours to a small fenced lake, had a run and went into a snag on the corner of the islandπŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ I’m just pleased I managed to get my rig etc back and not snapping off on the fish. Gonna go ago this evening and try again πŸ‘
  19. Start a new job Monday. Do I get a few nights in before I start πŸ€”πŸ˜‚ I want to get back on the res but if I catch another bream I might have to take up golf πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  20. Yeah mate you need to remove the lead, for example say 7 inches, stick needle in where you broke the lead off, go up 3 inches, attach needle to the end of the leader and pull the end back through. So basically there’s no lead in the loop or the few inches where you spliced πŸ‘πŸ‘
  21. I haven’t spliced leadcore for a years now so I’m racking my brains πŸ˜‚ when you pull it back through, once it’s started try pushing the leadcore up the needle with one hand/2 fingers while using the other hand to pull the needle and leadcore through the spliced hole if that makes sense lol. My thinking is pushing it up the needle with bunch the leadcore up instead of straightening it out tight. Not sure if wetting the needle before pulling it through might help? πŸ€”
  22. Hi mate are you closing the gate on the needle before pulling it back through? I take it you are using a splicing needle?

    Dogs and fishing

He looks like he’s going to be trouble mate πŸ˜†πŸ˜‚
  24. Had to wind the rods in at 4 for some kip. Might have to change my name to bream machine πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ done with particles the ducks and swans can eat the rest, gonna use just boilies for the rest of the session lol
  25. Brilliant mate sounds like you and the buzzard has both had a right result πŸ‘πŸ‘
