Watch out fishes here comes " Highys Autumn Campaign " ! . I've only fished 4 times this year due to problems with my toes / family holiday / seeing family / it's too damn hot at the moment , so I'm also looking towards emptying the lake starting the end of this month 😁

Nick has just beaten me to it . Sprouted means encouraging the bean ( whichever it is) to germinate . I used to use sprout Chick Peas , and also colour them when the standard Chick Pea was losing it's edge . 😃

It's what Framey has typed - ignore the quoted breaking strain and go by the thickness i.e. 0.40 as Ouch. says . You need a thicker line for abrasion resistance against the branches ; a thinner line may well break at the same figure , but with a straight pull on a weed / snag free water . 😀 -

Hi Newmarket What about a pellet feeder set up for TJ , it worked for you ? . Would that be the natural progression after the whip ? . I would let TJ ask you when he's ready to go fishing again . 😃

Well from what you've written , Elmo you've made a great decision ; your post reads that the lake is your happy place which to me is very important in stressful times . Interesting what you say about the Deeper - I've " found " some interesting spots with the Deeper , but can I then find the flipping spots with a marker set up afterwards to cast to ? - can I hell 😢.

Hello Carpman98 Thanks for starting this thread , I'm finding it very interesting . Personally I have been keeping my pop ups on my hooks from ending one session , and then 1st cast of the next session to save time . I tend to recast say every 2 hours , and then change flavour / colour , but I probably shouldn't as my rig should be resetting , and presenting correctly . 😃
