  1. So wouldn't David also be better off with a 3 wheeler ? . Surely it would be less tiring to just push , rather than lift and push ? .
  2. Hello spr Stupid question , but with a 3 wheeler I guess you push the barrow with all 3 wheels on the ground , rather than lift the back legs off the ground and keeping your arms straight push the barrow along on the front wheel ? .
  3. Hi jh92 What about a JRC Stealth X - Lite Chair ? .
  4. You'll have to change your name to Dedicated Dave , 2 1/2 miles is still a very long way to me - Yonny is just mad enough to run that distance wearing a backpack as well as pushing a Barrow just to make it more of a challenge
  5. A 4 mile walk , wow ! . I guess you are going to be fishing a Canal ? . So how far to a towpath ? , because I just had a mad idea of you getting a Dinghy with a little motor to shorten your pushing time . O.K. , I'll get my coat .
  6. Not that I'm doubting Yonny for a minute , but could you report back on your test results please Chill ? , it would be good to have 2 reviews ; and if Nick does his bench tests and compares the results against Diawa Sensor Brown and Gardner Pro Carp Light Blend I'll be a very happy bunny .
  7. Munch Baits do freeze dried Snails , or what about Dynamite Baits Hempseed and Snails ? .
  8. Hello Stevo Have you been out after your monster Perch yet this Winter ? .
  9. Gardner Pro Light Blend 12 lb or Sufix Synergy Carp 15lb
  10. Well I was going to recommend my Angling Intelligence one , but Phil has done you proud .
  11. Hello Cyborx Well I've been having this problem of short hair or long hair all season , so I've changed to Pop Up Rigs ! . So now all I have to do is position the boilie tight to the " shoulder " of the hook , umm no I'm still having problems with missed bites and losing fish .
  12. I was told at my local tackle shop that the small Carp were so damn quick when they sucked in and spat out the bait that a longer hair meant the bait stayed their mouth's longer and therefore gave you more chance of hooking them . However , the bigger Carp took a slower , more measured approach to eating bait . Well that's what I was told anyway .
  13. Thanks very much everyone , especially Yonny who's saved me lots of money as he has " used most of them " ! . It's all the properties that Yonny lists Stevo that I'm , and I think the other chaps are after .
  14. Hi Fellas Has anyone used this , and if so what do you think please ? . Ta .
  15. Hello Smufter and David I'm sure there was a thread on here at one time about Ace Hooks which basically suggested they allegedly were dodgy . When the Ace Hooks first came out my local tackle shop said they were the fastest selling hook he had ever had , but you don't seem to hear much about them now . Is it Yonny who has professional experience with metals ? , maybe he will read this and like to comment , or send a PM to him ? . I think it's Yonny that is testing the ESP Cryogenic Hooks . Hope this helps .
  16. Hi Smufter Could it also be that Gardner have introduced their Covert Dark range this year with micro barbs , and therefore the original Covert Range with a full barb are being phased out ? . You could always email Lewis Read and ask him , I've always found him very helpful and generous with his time
  17. Hello Smufter Sorry for the delay in replying , I have the JRC Contact Barrow . I'm very happy with it . It folds up in half ( you could really do with an extra pair of hands , but you soon get the knack of using your knees ! ) and the wheel removes quickly . The only problem is that I could do with being taller or having shorter arms as I find the back legs sometimes catch on the ground so I have to bend my arms where I really want to have straight arms . Maybe this is the Barrow for you also , Spr Hope the above helps .
  18. Hello David I love my Trakker Brolly ; I also own a Wychwood Solace 50" , but I find that a bit small and not as quick to erect as my Trakker . I take the Trakker every trip and leave it in the car unless I'm going over to the far side of the lake - the Weather Forcasters lie .
  19. Hello Smufter I bumped into a chap who is using " the purple line " . He said the 12lb was rubbish - he couldn't get it to knot satisfactorily and had lost fish because of this , but he was happy with , umm was it the 15lb or the 18lb ? d'oh I can't remember ! .
  20. Well Smufter , DPF sales could rocket or plummet - it's all down to you . No pressure then ! . I think you at least should post a picture of your tarty set up .
  21. Thank goodness it's Yonny with the laboratory , if was someone like Cyborx goodness knows what his twisted mind - oops , I mean fertile imagination would conjure up ! .

O.K. , if I can't afford the cute little bunny , my Wife says what dates is your Zoo open in August so we can bring the Grandchildren please ? .

    Aviary .

Can I have the cute little white one for my wife please ? . TJ - is that the face of a little rascal , or what ? .
  24. Thanks Phil that's saved me £199 ! .
  25. What about a JRC one , Lumey . I think it's a JRC Contact , folds down quickly , not too bulky , but I haven't used it extensively .
