Good grief , Nick , did you drag that humungus pile of weed out of the lake ? . How did you manage with the heat of Monday , and Tuesday ? . I should be fishing tomorrow in the relative cool , but to fish in the deepest part of the lake , or the shallows ? 😀

Thanks for the explanation about the rods , Blue . Actually I was really bad the other day as I had a carbon rod ( Century Armalite mk.3 ) as my right hand rod ,and a fibreglass rod ( Jack Hilton Carp ) as my left hand rod ; I just live life on the edge . 😁

Blue ! , how on earth do you expect to catch when your rods aren't identical ? . To me it looks like one rod is a darker cane than the other , and the reel fittings are different . 🙄

So it sounds just like Elmo said , that someone simply threw the stake away . I guess the the blokes in YOUR swim swore blind there was no stake there ? . There must be a better way to reserve a swim ? . It's a credit to you that it sounds that you're more upset for your mate .
