Me too I've just gone for first tea break at work to find I've left my dinner at home ππ
-
I got one of these and tried it out this weekend, I heated my curry up and treat will look forward to making some great bankside cuisine with itπ
-
Good I think you should wait π It keeps the christmas spirit alive and gives you some Christmas magic 3ven if you know what it is πππππππππ€Άπ€Άπ€Άπ€Άπ π π π π π π π π π

The bag material on the ngt is thick and very robust mines been through the wars and is still standing any zip I can break I will i haven't broke an ngt one yet π€
-
I once put a bream in it and the smell won't go away otherwise its OK π I have found sometimes the sides can be leapt by an angry carp if its not pegged down but it stays tight if it is
-
I just looked at the YouTube can't believe you don't get a groundsheet or any extras with it for that much
-
The angle on the eye of the esp ones looks a little less extreme Than the bank tackle ones which I think will compensate for the curve and make them sit well on a ronnie rig, that being said I am quite happy with the presentation of the bank tackle one as its a straight shank, they will probably both sit about the same in the end π
-
Yeah I do like the look of those ones but haven't got any in stock and I have a good few bank longshanks π They sharpen up quite nicely though and I've got faith in the pattern which helps, I've used them for wafters and snowman rigs and Multi rigs too and every fish I've hooked has been nailed so far,

They have recently reduced the abv on the bottles of westons I think not quite as mind blowing these days, you used to really know when you had more than a couple great stuff π
-
I like the westons ones best from the bigger places old Rosie is bootiful, But do enjoy a nice flat proper cider or perry when I get the chance
-
Ghostship is a lovely pint, even in cans or bottles it is pretty decent, also love the copperhouse gin that's quite moreish
-
I just had a look the one I saw is a beaked chod hook, in my opinion they aren't the one for a multi or a Ronnie, the eye is the wrong angle for those rigs which would leave the hook sitting backwards,
-
I thought you Suffolk were forced to drink adnams from birth π³π³π³π³
-
I've been getting into the Ronnie rig lately I use bank tackle Continentals but have a look at the new ESP ones they look perfect for it, https://esp-carpgear.com/products/hooks/cryogen-trig-hammer/

I agree there aren't that many great deals around today, but depending on what you want you can save from them, I've hardly seen anything that is cheaper today than usual on AD, I haven't ever really looked at those kind of alarms so can't really say what they would usually go for what is the rrp on them BTW?
-
It does say they will price match on there site
-
That's only one item though and I wouldn't be interested in spending that much on bite alarms anyway, But if you care to look there are things I doubt you will find cheaper elsewhere when you apply the code and it's a local shop surely it is better to support them than the big ones
-
I hav e seem one place that seems to be doing good deals https://vale-royal-angling-centre.myshopify.com/ Never used them myself though
-
I have been keeping an eye on AD recently and I did notice quite a few sale items aren't that great a deal, If you want a cracking deal on cyprinus stuff check out their eBay auctions some right bargains to be had at the moment, I just wish I had lots of spare cash tbh π
-
I decided against a heater in the end I got some base layers and thermal work trousers with my old fishing suit for extreme weather they got too hot last time though so I stripped off π₯π Get a nice hot water bottle or two for the sleeping bag that seemed to work well last time, one for the feet and one for your back lovely, or stagger the time you boil the kettle for them that way you will stay warmer for longer
-
I leave all my pop ups on a shelf in my garage and the only ones the mice seem to want are the super glugged specials I forgot about π
-
Thanks for that yeah dynamite ones they are oily, I wasn't confident the pellets would be OK tbh but thought I would check as it's still not proper cold yet And it saves me a trip to the shops no particle, so that's also fine π I will have a go just with crumb this time I will add a few whole and bigger chops as well but it's a winter friendly bait so should be fine I think, just going to go easy and fish for a bite at a time, I am going to stick with the Ronald rigs over the top also I've decided I quite like em recently
-
Just made 3kg of boilie crumb for the weekend, I am hoping the food source liquid arrives as I want to give it a good dousing of that and maybe some evaporated milk would you add any particles into this ? , it's a very creamy sweet mix at present and I am aiming for sloppy but with not too many bulky food items hmmm I have still got some 4mm + 6mm Robin red pellets and groundbait but they are a bit oily? Too late or would you still use them in Moderation? I just want to get it right this weekend π
-
That's fine in theory but I decided a while a go from now on any rods I buy must have a Cork handle π³
