I havent had a beer since January 1st 😢 I made it out the bunker is up and it's lovely nowhere near as small as I thought its pukka nice and comfortable for the cold season, I've even popped on the wrap full luxury tonight and feeling confident , the rods are both in action and it looks like I may have the place to myself soon and I didn't bring the snide 3rd rod 😭 Sometimes you have to do these things for a peaceful life 😀 no washing up though

Hi all looking for recommendations, Would like accommodation and stuff for the kids to do ie pool, roach bashing, and somewhere the misses would like to be also, maybe with some stuff to do on the local area We will also be trying to bolt on euro Disney so wouldn't mind something not a million miles from there but appreciate we may have to do a good bit of driving too I quite like the look of les gravelles, as I will be the only proper angler fishing doesn't have to be too big, just a family break with the chance of a 40+ hippochunk or two and some action Cheers all

Didn't even spot that 28kgs for smallest one plus accessories wow that's gonna hurt someone that's a proper lump Needs a power porter to carry it 😳 -
Thanks I am OK for one tbh, we can't even agree on deeper usage and whether that is cheating and you cast that , I think bait boats with sonar may cause a riot 😱😱😵

Do you do 0 % interest?

I've just decided I may have some opportunities to do some more stalking this year, it's about time the old 6ft greys stalker rod came out to play again, i need a nice small reel for it I think, but could be nice to walk round for a couple of hours before work seeking some close up and personal action, more of that peeking through bushes action will be splendid I think

Why is it bad that he lives in Hitchin? 🤔 I mean I do agree with all the fancy jargon but I thought Hitchin was alright compared to some places lol 😁 -
I'll start they are a new design an extreme rrp, not sure I would be able justifying the 2nd mortgage but they seem well thought out Good features I noticed Magnetic mozzie window, Headroom Quick to put up Awning (for family fishing) Double up as a football goal 😁⚽ Might be worth seeing how they fayre in the bivvy market as they are pricey will be interesting to see what sort of price they actually sell for after a while

It's funny I spent a little time being a team member last year and it did funny things to my brain, I wanted to use a different pop up and then felt I couldn't and I wanted to use alternate hookbaits etc but then felt handicapped or that I would have to lie if I caught anything worth catching, quite happy to be free of all that again tbh, this year I can do what I want when I want with whatever I want, other than fishery rules obvs 😉

I've got a lot of time for Carl and Alex they seem like genuine guys and they seem to be in it for a genuine Love of the Sport and also to help the kids learn, and from a slightly different perspective, they have also set up another channel which has instructional videos to teach newcomers how to do things,

I think doing things your way and being different are almost the same thing really and most will be using there own ideas, for me it comes down to trends if you see a lot of people spombing then use a different method if everyone is using a throwing stick then a Spomb may be the answer, just the simple things really, I watch a lot of YouTube vids and most of the time they are all using heavily glugged spod mixes and I've no doubt this works because you also see the proof, but is the method diluted by everyone else doing similar things? This is why I raised the question really, For me this year SHOULD be better I am going back to a lake I fished before for a season and caught quite well from so I know a few swims already, I have rigs I am confident in, I actually think I am a more advanced angler than when I fished it before and can hopefully do OK, naturally it will have changed but hopefully I can coax a few whackers out and pick up from where I left off, I caught my biggest fish from there a 27lb common, it was my target then to get a 30+ and that's still the target but also to be more consistent and go in with a plan and see it through
