  1. This weekend I tragically lost my vintage JRC Cocoon, must have been 25 years old or more. It had a bent frame, lots of tape, mouse holes and I had replaced the elastic for zip ties and it was light as anything. But sadly the loops started to rip away from the mattress and it could no longer be saved. It's out lasted many other bedchairs, it's now gone to bedchair heaven and will be sadly missed RIP So I have found a new JRC Cocoon 2 arriving tomorrow, it's probably 4 times as heavy but looks mega comfortable and it's a sleep system. I still have the sonik one but that does tend to give me back ache. But it is pretty light and will do for when I need the barrow.
  2. Just check it before your next trip, shelf life particles usually stay OK for a while.
  3. I've actually seen this too. Left on all night to light a pathway to his rods. Don't encourage the trolls 😂
  4. Oh so you didn't get banned.
  5. It isn't.
  6. You can get castable weed rakes 😉
  7. If you want to get a bank loan for leads the fox gripper leads are good. If not any will do I found the ridgemonkey ones awful though I couldn't feel the drop with those for some reason. I quite like a coated lead but the rough sort as they pick up any clay off the bottom. But basically any will do.
  8. Would some kind of tripod help? Or one of those ones that you can attach to things?
  9. I daren't work it out 😂
  10. Finished off my hookbaits with a dusting of basemix, another coat of my bait spray that doesn't spray and 3 more coats of basemix dusting. Will see how they look once they've fully dried. But quite happy with the results
  11. Thanks Still tropamino at the moment. I've just been playing with the liquids, eggs and flavours etc to get it how I want it. I've been on Copilot quite a lot and have made a load of recipes from scratch on there . It's been good fun but as of yet I haven't tried making any other than my glycerin liquid. Next thing I want to do is scale up production to make more quicker. I need a compressor for the gs night hawk I got with my boilie roller and I'm thinking about getting a paddle mixer so I can mix higher quantities at once. I have bought some egg albumen now, so hopefully all my hookbaits will be better, they don't have to last forever as I rarely leave one out more than 24 hours, just need some more time and to get my garage mixing ready. I've got enough bait for my next trip though so I am alright for now 👍
  12. Yes hopefully, very happy with the basemix that rolls well, smells good and seems like it should be a decent bait. Pretty much think I have the recipe bang on now, For some reason I've struggled more with hookbaits but I think i just needed to add some egg albumen to firm them up a bit, I threw a load out but pretty happy with the latest ones now they are being glugged. Just need to start catching for confidence but enjoying the ride so far.
  13. Permission granted 😂
  14. I would leave them in the garage will be fine in these temps, not worth the risk. 😂
  15. I may have got rumbled for my extra sections of bushwhacker, luckily the first one got through customs without being scanned.
