  1. Only just noticed this thread, I could help with some waters in the South.
  2. You asked a similar question last week http://www.carp.com/carp-forum/viewtopic.php?p=442348&highlight=#442348
  3. I'd say thats underkill if there's 5 of you with 4 rods each. I often use 5kg of boillies over 3 days for 3 rods in UK. It all depends how its fishing though.
  4. I would have thought the opposite, it may work on overstocked waters with smaller carp and lots of competition for food but would never have thought it would work with older, larger and wiser carp.
  5. Orchid Lakes is in Oxfordshire and has fish over 23lb and allows night fishing. After reading various reviews on the place some people love it and some hate it. If you go to Linear it gets very busy on the weekends and you may be better off going midweek.
  6. I've tried a few times leaving a rig out overnight with just two pieces of artificial corn and have never had anything, but I have had a fair few when using one piece to tip a boillie. I have very little confidence in it on its own but one of my mates always has 2 pieces on at least one rod and doesn't do too badly, its one of his favourite baits. It winds me up when we have nutritious boillies for the carp then they go and get caught on a piece of plastic
  7. This is the only other thread I can find on Bosley, it must be half decent if Goblin was considering fishing there. http://www.carp.com/carp-forum/viewtopic.php?t=28009&highlight=bosley

  9. This lake is actually Little Horseshoe, Horseshoe Lake is a different lake owned by The Carp Society. If you're still not confident it may not be the best choice of venue. http://www.watermarkfisheries.com/Carp/lhs.html
  10. I googled authorpe lincolnshire fishing and found this, it was written in 2005. Authorpe gets a mention on here as well. http://www.carp.com/carp-forum/viewtopic.php?t=26543&highlight=authorpe Hope this helps

  20. I was going to suggest Longleat which is on my hitlist this summer, but its 1hr 23 mins and 61.8 miles away from Basingstoke on the AA Routefinder.
  21. Its in the rules I have to use tubing now Been using tubing since January and I hate it as its sticks out like a sore thumb compared to almost invisible mono. 2m is a fair amount for 3 rods Sharpy, I just put 12 inches of tubing on.
  22. If your going on the weekend, you’d probably have to get which swim you can, the big plated came out at 41lbs this year out of sj
  23. I use the korda Quick change links and have never had one break. I don't bother trying to disguise them, I think a small piece of black metal is better disguised on a lakebed than a chunky piece of rubber.
  24. How about the tried and tested rig on 2 rods and an experimental rig on 1 rod? Personally I'd use the tried and tested on all 3
