Rooney's goals to games in the euros tournament stage is 5 out of 6 ...But starting him means dropping some real talent, Muhammad Ali, oops, I mean Dele Alli would be better behind, if he plays in midfield then who drops out?? Hendo ?? I'd drop Barkley but don't think he'l start so who knows where Roy will play him. Luckily Delph signed for city to replace another English lad (Rodwell, remember him LOL) I'd like to see Defoe in the squad but think wellcrap ....damn cant spell tonight, I mean Walcott will get in over him, 06 all over again The sad thing is I will leave the bank after a short night on the 16th to go home believing we have the players to beat Wales. -
I knew as soon as I posted you would pick me up on that...I meant it on what I'd seen before.

Thinking about it ....when I first see the korda COG leads I had deja vu. I think Tels early version may have been a drill out lead....but cant be sure it was 15 years back or so

It was a long time ago, but I seem to remember Terry Hearn talking about this rig in Angling Times.....Not sure if the "which way it lands" dilemma is why Iv not seen it since(until today) but I do think the flying chod evolved from this. It certainly would set the hook home, and maybe batter their chops trying to shake it out.

Flat or grippers if fishing on a slope. Pear( dumpy or long ) for distance. Square or dumpy are good for giving maximum weight on the lift. I don't think the actual rig dictates what lead shape or type is needed ,but where the rig is used definitely should be considered with shape and type. Distance, you cant beat heli set ups. Indication ,running rigs win all week long. leadclips???............they're great for ease of switching leads till you find the one that works for you..(and setting hooks and snag work) Inlines, semi fixed , free running and drop off are all rounders, great for bag work, but can cause problems on some bottoms as the swivel can get damaged if not a bag.

GET IN!!!! -
Over or under balanced both work, now after reading Yonny's comments I think it could work against us at times also. Slow sinking, I'm expecting the bait to move if stirred up and act more natural, like the rest of the freebies, That's always been over particles though. I don't balance boilies, or it very rare......Pop ups I will over weight ... I guess that's the same. I watched swans kick up all types of baits I'v put in , in deeper water than they can reach. Makes me wonder what actually happens when fish stir up baits...though these days I'm always wanting a resetting rig as its hard to keep a rig in the water for long with the bird(thug for) life

French dude, Carpepecheur. I think he has used one for quite a while, well field tested by him.... they seem well made and reliable from reading his post about it.

Hey, if you want to pull your hair out. I once worked out it only takes 9" of leadcore to use as a boom on HSR with a 15mm pop up to do away with any putty or shot

Just read Peter Taylors ratings for tonight's game against the Dutch. How can he give Barkley a 7?? he was playing AM, fair enough if he played DM ...that many passes back is expected, but for a AM shockingly (instant ban) he isn't even close to Alli ....even as a hammers fan I can see we need to start Kane and Alli!! -
HSR for me is with the boom horizontal and weighted. Not sure about Yonny but I have fished a chod with a short boom unweighted sitting vertical. It can allow the rig to spin freely 360 in silt or weed where normal style can be restricted from the curved hooklink.

I'm a running rig guy, its rare that I use in-line and even rarer I use lead clips. When using run rigs I just use the lead as a casting weight, unless dealing with tow or flow on a river where I'll up, it to hold bottom though if up streaming this isn't needed and can allow for a semi slack line.On weedy waters Iv experienced more problems with line than the lead arrangement, one example of this was on Abbey on PCF water, using drop off in-lines in solid bags, this lake has a carpet of weed with( viewed from the boat) tree/ mushrooms towers of weed ...I hooked a few that surfaced to the right or left of where the line was entering, no lead set up could stop these snaggings around these towers as it was down to the direction the fish took of in, luckily the were no obstructions on the bank so walking along it I managed to free the line and land the carp(s).

Too close to call, Watford could well easily do over Leicester and I think the Spuds will spank Arsenal now Cech and koscielny are out.....But its not going to be Man u , City and Arsenal or ha ha ha ha ha ,current mid table champs Chelsea!!.. Think its going down to the last game. -

A tough one to call, hopefully the caterers do us a favour, again!! I fancy the mighty Antonio to bag one......This lad should be ahead of Walcott and Oxlade for England on his current form!! -
That must be why the original "angled " metal wire didn't catch on and we all go "netting" these days ........forgive me though ,if hooks are actually casted and not folded .. My experience , with any metal, is it has to be folded back and forth before it weakens enough too snap......Even DF , in one of his early vids uses pliers to adjust his hook pattern.

Think that backs up the theory Giroud spends more time looking in the mirror than practising shooting!! -

It is disgusting, if you think along the lines as one of the Golds mentioned , the ticket income makes no difference to whether the club can afford to buy Ronaldo or Messi!!! really it should only have to cover the cost of stewards and police presence ....12th man is worth so much more!!! -
