I've just arrived home, I managed 1 carp of 13lb and a tench, been a great weekend and great to meet some of you guys IRL. Can't wait for the next one. 

I have a couple for freshwater use 
one of those yellow hobbies that attach to the bait boat 
and a deeper pro plus.
I turn the fish finder part off and just use them as a mapping tool 

my gps fish finder on my boat I use all the features on it but then I am fishing in the sea ..

Don’t do it unless you are confident in what you are doing 
slightest error on your end could potentially end  in bad stuff.

They were only a real nuisance when the breeze died down , but i did have a hat with a vail all round it so i was fine .

At a small village called Tyndrum.

Went to Scotland to do some Gold panning in the rivers and burns for a couple of days back in September. and yes Yippee i found some . 

framey’s advice is exactly what I would suggest , although I’m a Coleman user and don’t suffer these issues 😝
