You just bind it on going round and round the bait ,when finished winding it on just pull to snap , it just binds on ,no need for loops or nots , have a look on you tube sea fishing ect , theirs bound to be someone showing how , it is really easy 
Ps , floss will not contract like bait elastic which pulls tight on the bait.

Never used Snails or Slugs , but if I was to put a Snail on the hook, out of the shell, I would use Bait elastic and bind it on , very similar to way I secure soft baits I use Beach fishing .

Should be more proper music in carp vids I think, don't get me wrong I did enjoy the odd rave in my youth but I don't want to hear toned Down beats I want metal or punk in a carp vid, would be much better even some nice acoustic

Just got to the new lake im fishing.
The lake is 6 acres and holds about 30 carp.
Ive already seen the big common, hasnt been out in nearly 2 years.
I saw him about 2 months ago when i was walking round and he had most of the stock with him.
So im thinking im in the right place at the moment , im just having a ciggie and gonna take my time , sit back and watch for bit before i disturb the water.
 

Well ended up on the water we wanted and for the first time in what feels like ages I lost one,and it felt like a good un 😱😱😱 was gutted tbh and was my only bite of the session. I have unfinished business with this water 🙄😬😎.
On a positive note matey boy had one over my mix and  boilies so I’m heading in the right direction. Still can’t get the feeling when my fish padded me up and everything went solid 😱😱😱 always next time i suppose 😉😎🎣

Praying I can get on the local cat water with temps forecast for mild tomorrow overnight after dropping night time temps. I’d of been on for 48 but the Mrs car is in the garage for 09:00 tomorrow so gotta drop her off..... blooming women 🙄🙄...... back up plan for a carp runs water if I can’t but with it being bank holiday I can see me maggot bashing at this rate 🙄🙄😂😂😬

Hard work but very rewarding buddy.
I'm due to go fishing tomoz, just a day session, for the first time since the wee man joined us. I came off my bike 2 weeks ago however and have a nasty chest injury. Plan is to head over later today to bait up. The way I see it if I'm able to spod, I'm able to fish, Time will tell.

I have had good results fishing popped up 9 inches when fishing dead pads , my theory is you'll never quite know whether you lead is down in between a tuba or not so you could be fishing anything from an inch to 9 inches above ,
