    Recently joined a syndicate in Newbury , run by Mark Simmonds and Kev White, and what a fantastic well run syndicate ,0ne lake 19 acres and the other around 6 acres ,The syndicate being called Carptonic . I have had a few fish ,but was fortunate enough to catch one of the big ones, named the FFS Mirror @ 33:11 a month or so ago. Sitting on a bucket is so much easier for photographs ,😁

    Thats artificial grass from some football pitch from the continent , its amazing stuff and doesnt get hot

    So im guessing your Dad brought out the Bitec Micro , very small and worked the same as a Delkim with the vibration sensing

    As its been so hot ,i have pretty much lost all enthusiasm to go fishing, hence i haven't been on here in a while, nor on the bank , but now its cooling down i do intend to get out more .

    IMO , These are the BEST butt rest EVER , these have to be well over 15 years old , i have never used any other Butt rest Carp fishing .

    Something i have learned recently , is that some bait company's bring out a bait ,It does really well catching lots of fish , once said bait becomes established they start cutting the ingredients ,to increase profits , but still keeping the same color , same smell , to increase profits

    I looked it up ,and it seems a nice enough place , other than that , i know nothing about it ,sorry i cant be more helpfull .

    The hardest part was getting it to the surface under the rod , it seemed to take forever

    Havnt been on here in a while , busy with life i guess but did manage this Common on the weekend , absolutely made up with this fish .

    Surely if they use the same one or two knots in all the tests ,it is fair to those knots and line .

    Rod and bivvy shot , I had a screaming run around 5 , but connected with nothing, very strange.

    It was a rush to get here before dark after finishing work ,as I hoped to get away early , well that didn’t happen and ended up chuckling out 30 mins into dark, so not set up for photos , so this is the best I can do at 3 in the morning , I’ll try and post if I catch over the next 24 hrs or so .just landed a common at .
