I just can’t bring myself to buy any OMC gear because of the stupid names they call their items

“oh I bought a touch me up today”

    lol

imagine the stinky winky you would get in the pub…

Got a feeling there all based in Peeky Blinders 🤣🤣

Some of the stuff looks good, I do like the Lock Hooks to be fair.

Yes Mate. I put the hook through the corner of the bag and drop the lead in the opposite corner, then fill with pellet mix. I then tease the lead up so it's at the top of the bag, then lick and stick the bag shut.

I deleted mine and Elmo's posts arguing, it was childish, on both sides.

Cheers Pal, I'll be using 6ft Rods, 3lb Test Curve...I've got the RH PVA Bags will more of close in work/under arm flicks.

Not me mate, I rate the spinner.

Mate..... I though it was strange when you ditched the spinner you'd perfected. Important lesson to be learned there. If it works, don't fix it👌

I use the Nash Claw Spinner for Bottom, Pop Ups and Wafters....

    Then now trying Zigs more....

That's about it really rigs wise.

My  Multi-rig with a RH Hemp Naturalz, and the lead on a run ring.

It's produced a lot of fish, either with a 12mm Monster Crab pop-up, a trimmed down yellow pop-up or the Naturalz.

It's the rig I fish over particles (Hemp and pigeon conditioner) and pellets.

Is this what you put all into a PVA Bag ?

Not sure if I used @yonnyphoto class to its max, but it was piddling down, I had the camera in the bivvy and just went for it. Turned out pretty well I think,

Thanks to @Higham1987for the night spodding advice. I redid the rods this morning with a fresh pop up on a classic Elmo spinner rig, fired about 20 more baits with a pult and 10 minutes later this was the result.

Naturally I used mollasses in the spod mix and this 29lb 8oz common was the result I had worked so hard for.

    Confidence is king.

Yes I am convinced- Im going for it-otherwise as soon as it rains and gets cold -that will be it for my season!  Thank you for being really helpful-I am a noobee to this web site!

For the people that buy them I hope they didn't just jazz it up -my R series is an abs ridiculous design.  The Bivvy is great-tall and super well made but the design just sucks.    There are 3 pram struts all different join lengths joined to one focal point so you cannot cleanly fold like most normal bivvies, you also cant take the poles out of the joins they are stuck tight. It takes 5 mins to put up and at least 15 to put away.  Not fun when you are tired.

Thanks again for the advice- not definitive but given me the confidence to spend a load of money!

And Elmoputney-no doesn't look like that at all-is that your bolt hole-nicely put up though!

PS has anyone used the store at Carp.com. I had never heard of them until I started looking for a wrap.

What about a Fox Eos 2 man Overwrap?

That's not a bunker I don't think looks a bit different to me. Looks like some kind of day shelter one. The bunker has a fart flap on the back.

I do have a wraP for it but that is the only time i use the bunker when it's cold 😬

No, I know, it's an Angling Intelligence 1 man Bivvy....I'm after a wrap also and nearest looking bivvy is a Cyprinus Bunker...

I would say an overwrap would fit just fine if the dimensions are exactly the same, did the older one have an option for inner dome? If so they have probably just jazzed it up a little and rebadged it, that is also probably why they didn't reply because they didn't want to admit it's the same

    Speaking of Overwraps....

@elmoputney does your bunker look like this bivvy.

Do you have a wrap for yours...

Thank you. Yes definately same design size.  My question for the inner dome is whether the connecting / joining loops are still in the same position on the new voyager inner dome compared to the Series R bivvy.  If they are not in the right place that could be rather awkward!

thanks again for the quick response!

I'd contact Fox, or even put the question on some Fishing Facebook Sites ??

I have the Fox Series R XL 0ne man bivvy but I need a wrap and /or inner dome for the winter, which you can no longer purchase as the Series R has been discontinued.  However, it looks an identical structural design to the new Fox Voyager one man bivvy model.  I wonder whether I can use the Voyager over wrap and inner dome on the Series R bivvy.  I have contacted Fox International twice to ask-but they haven't bothered to contact me back.   Does anyone have a view? or compared the two, or own the Fox voyager who could assist me?   Thanks

    Nice looking dinner that!

I don't know if anyone remembers, but I did a small breakdown review of various makes of gas canisters here:

I'm still of the opinion that Coleman aren't the best, but are the cheapest of the 'premium' brands. There is possibly a link to a cheap eBay supplier for boxes of 6 Coleman £27.45 carriage free.

Brew up for yourself, you selfish man, 😂

I'm the same, my Bialetti Coffee maker is exactly right for 1 mug. So if I offer coffee, you must be special for me to offer you one and put it on specifically for you.

    Love a good coffee me

    https://skullcrushercoffee.com/

    Oooooo it's gooooood.

I can do 2 brews with it, but it will be half a cup 🤣🤣

Mine does so can only imagine how load yours is. Bet it eats the gas on full power. I went for the single one as I thought gas would last longer.

Don't take your eyes off it for too long.

I killed my kettle as I put kettle on to brew, then had a bite and by the time I finished landing the fish it had boiled dry and melted the handle. There supposed to be really good in the wind though.

I've not gone for normal gas, gone for a perchance gas that should last longer (apparently)

I only tend to brew up for myself, I've got/had what mates call a selfish kettle that only does 1 brew 🤣🤣
