  1. Well, I think that's the Day session gear sorted (unless I want a sling and some scales)

Got some pegs from Halfords, Half Litre Fabsil.

Spooled up the Float Rod, Washed and dried the Bivvy then gave a coat of Fabsil.

Sorted the 1 Rod Carp Setup.

Like this weekend I've been bored out my tree, SO...... got the gear to go this morning......NO LICENCE, couldn't be bothered fanny about so sorted all out so no dramas for next time.

Hello I’ve recently purchased some Nash dwarf 9ft shrinks does anyone know if they will fit the nash transporter r6 when fully compacted or if it’s better to just get the r9 and leave them fully extended

I had the R10 Transporter for the 10ft Xtractors, I could only fit 2 rods in with the ultegra 14000's (yeh too big I know), but it's all about the length of the handle to were the reel sits in....the xtractors ONLY just fitted in.

I've enough to do a day session, this is what was/is my lads (6ft setup), but maybe doing 1/2 nights with my uncle for his birthday in September, so don't wanna spend big, but want something I could use as a day shelter/bivvy (if needed)...

I've not wet a line since 7th October last year...

What happens if the bloods come back clear mate? I'd expect this would have a big influence on the value of the claim?

Worth asking the question. The few thousand they've offered might exceed the value of a clean blood pay-off.

The Few Thousand was spoken about/to with my Director of the Company (about 3k) but solicitors are saying regardless of the outcome of results, besides dying, this could be a life threatening situation for the duration of what remains of me living, but all in all the Factory has never in its entire history has ever come across this situation and are still trying to implement procedures/risk assessments/studys on how they hope it will never happen again....

We're the needle came from, is practically un heard of being used and needles should only be used in our Oc Health department when giving out yearly vaccines at work, so I think (still as of today) they are still trying to implement all of the above for hoping nothing like this can happen again, but people.who know at work like Magaers and Top Bosses are all practically on my side, even the Factory Manager....

  8. The Company/Factory have now accepted liability, but there insurance have asked to look at the investigation.

They have (unofficially) asked if I would take "A few Thousand" to not go through proceedings....errrrm NOPE.

So Far.......Solicitors are negotiating for 6months salary (£13,200) they take 25% of final settlement (£3,000)....so could be a good final figure for myself 🤞🤞🤞🤞

I've had numerous meetings with the Managers, all stating how unprofessional the situation has been, now just need bloods again in September and wait for results.

I could never get on with drinking I tried but it didn’t agree with me, I’m had a hangover with a pint of shandy 🙄 … but in the last 10 years I discovered Rum  🥃

Don’t get a hangover must be the cola I have with it and the two paracetamol I take before bed 😂

JD man myself, ANY of em but the Honey with lemonade is best.

Did used to like a Navy Rum (Artemi) I think...

Need to settle a marital dispute before someone's sleeping in the shed 🤣

    Here's my question:

If u go carp fishing and only catch bream or a angry little jack, or even every species in the lake but... NO CARP then did you BLANK OR NOT!?

    I say:

If you go carp fishing and catch every species in the pond except a carp then you BLANK!!

    She says:

If you go carp fishing and catch anything at all even if it's not a carp then it's NOT A BLANK.

    I reply:

I'm carp fishing not course fishing so it's still a BLANK if no carp grace the net!!

    Who's right lol.

BUT....do you go "Fishing" or "Carp Fishing" ??

    Fishing - Not a Blank

    Carp Fishing - Blank

We're the hotel was, there was only 4 hotels in the area, ours included....but getting there from the airport reminded me of the film American Sniper, in how they traveled around the city in there little vans and bikes,

  14. Back this morning at 4am from 10 days in egypt, coolest day was 36oC hottest was 43oC....soon be on a 4hr round trip drive to pick the pooch up from sister in laws at Thirsk....been up since 5.30am yesterday, screaming baby behind us on plane for 5hrs, no sleep then or even today, back in work at 4.30 in morning.

  15. Was "Given" a Bivvy + Wrap, the fella said he has misplaced the pole for the Bivvy Peak, so thought could use as a Day shelter and Sell the Wrap....

Upon setting up yesterday I found the Pole, told him and he wasn't bothered, so up for sale it went and sold a few hours later....

So that's the Airport money for Wednesday (Holiday to Egypt).

46kg Bio Marine (when was on sale), Pop Uos, Wafter, Glugs, Liquid Food.

    30kg Carp Particles - Ultimate

    10 Bags of Frozen Corn

1 Sack of Aller Aqua Feed Pellets

Thus was all supposed for a Park Lake Campaign which I should be in Now, but ended selling all my Gear (+Bait)

Any recommendation for a bite alarm set with bivvy light?

I think sonik probably do a set

their early versions ate batteries not sure if they still have the same problem

    whats your budget

the new Nash alarms have a light on them

the for rx have a light on them

never used delks so don’t know if they do.

The Sonik SKS 3+1 set, probably without doubt the best selling 1st set/starter alarms to go for.

Also cater for all ranges of anglers.

Tired of watching the likes of korda masterclasses lol, so gonna have another look through these.

Its been over 20yrs since they were last opened. Either gonna learn something new or remember something old.

Woooow, going back a while there now, jeez.

I had 6 binders and (I think) I collected every issue, I can remember they were heavy when full.

Had everything in from Seafishing, were to fish in what weather conditions, what rigs and bait, tactics, tackle...
