  1. I'm on a break at moment, last time I was out was more than 14months ago, not a single line wet since then, I did end up selling all my Gear, but recently started to gather backup.

Bait, I think, is a personal choice AND can be an expensive 1....inuse Sticky Manilla all year through and did do before I stopped, now I've gone back to the same, but will only be doing PVA Bags close in range.

Same with rigs, there is alot of mechanical in them, only 2 rigs for myself....Ronnie Claw rig, pva bag rig....job done.

But don't think I could do the lengths of your 2's being so many years...

You got a good wife then & the ladders are definitely worth getting rid of before the fishing kit.

The older I get the less I like being up ladders n on roofs especially in the winter months.

    Hope your health picks up

I've been up today and cleared all the gutters and cleaned em out, neighbour saw me and asked do there's too...why not.

Think on most it might help but these have pretty crisp edges.

The bevel on the clip is pretty sharp and with the spool where the line is near the clip. I ran a plastic card over it and look how it cut into that

They're going back I think. I got maker elastic so can manage with that for now(might not be quite as accurate)

They got a years warranty just gotta get Christmas out of the way(kids to buy pressies for) as I like winter fishing and don't want to be without reels until all the refund rubbish is sorted(gave my old ones away to someone wanting to start out).

Bites might be few n far between but alot less anglers out there since most pack up until spring.

Emailed sonik to see they're response and they just told me to send them back to where I bought them so no help at all.

Sonik "Used" to replace faulty goods, but when people were buying 2nd hand and trying to get new replacements, they cottoned on and started to go through the Shops people bought from, then the Shop would send back to them.

Jackie at Customer Servies & Marrin Ford on Products they were awesome on products and at the Shows.

I got stabbed with a syringe by a shoplifter back in 2011 I think it was.

That was an A&E job, HIV, Hep C and B tests, and a year of blood tests and Hep B immunisation jabs.

The 'no win no fee' solicitor took the case on for criminal assault etc. The court awarded a total of £1000, which in terms of the mental health covered bog all. After he took his cut I got a total of £520.

The assailant got 2years after changing his plea on the trial day, he'd served 11months on remand, so had 1month more to serve before his release. Pleading guilty pretty much got 50% of the sentence reduced and time served.

Really not worth the effort either way.

Justice and sentences really wind me up, and Starmer let loose a lot more on early release to make places for 'right wing fascists' who were in many cases demonstrating against the current immigration, and not all were rioting.

Yep, did the Same, A&E, HIV injections, HIV medication, 3 lots of Bloods (results come back fine).

My Solicitors is a No Win No Fee, but I've used them before with good success, there take is 25% of the final outcome, which is I'm asking for 6 months Wages, we're the other Party has accepted liability straight away. I've seen doctors, nurses, psychologists, psychiatrist, and have all told me that my Anciety is my worst diagnosis, I've go a consultation Monday, I'm going seeing another Psychologist in a few weeks, I've got regular meetings at work, as it can be seen I'm not actually upto my job lately....

I have no faith what so ever in the Justice System, ever since my lad got attacked on the Bus coming home from school, myself n wife found out everything about the attacker, retrieved CCTV from the bus, basically did all the work, not once did an officer come to my house or even speak to my Son (this was October 2022) I've still got the case file on my phone.

  5. I got 1 of the "Cheap" camo RC500 Bait Boats of Amazon, £89 yeh was cheap but it out lasted my mates Actor Bait Boat on battery usage....only difference being that his was a Hatch drop, mine was a rear flipper, both did the Same job ?

Then came my Actor copy Bait Boat, didn't use the rear flipper a was abit 💩....but the middle Hatch was bang on.

Both sub £100 and both lasted 2yrs +

Mate.... Nash haven't released anything of good quality in 15 years +.... imo.

At the price point you're looking at I'd be going with Okuma.

Looked at a few Okumas, looking 1 of the better options so far.

I watched the obsession by Carl first then found Scott Lloyd had also released his video the same day, I really enjoyed both of them and felt they made a great story between them. So I will recommend them as a pair of films.

Yah, seen both these other week, the amount of time spent on this lake by these 2 was unreal...

I don't trust Nash products personally, I once owned a titan that fell apart, I would think of the okuma ones you mentioned the LS-6k will do the best job for you, it will also give you a bit of space if you decide you need a pair of bigger rods

Maybe a tad too big for the rods now, but like you say, maybe for 10ft rods at most, that's the biggest my rod bag can hold upto...

On the Carp Reel section, do like the Custom Black Feeder Reel, Atomic Carp Reel.
