  1. And once you've tightened up to the lead open your bail arm.🙂👍
  2. I have the rear drop off indicators for pike fishing. So you tighten up to the lead and clip into the drop off's and fish with tight line, much better indication for your pike fishing.
  3. Do you use tubing or do you just go naked straight through?😁👍
  4. Our pup just wouldn't take to the crate he used to cry and howl all night and one night he had the runs in there, I've never seen such a mess before or since, So we had to get rid of the crate and give him the run of down stairs, now 8 years on he's got the run of the whole house. But too say he's spoiled would be an understatement. 😂🤣😂
  5. When we got our puppy it was like having another baby, I can only imagine having two puppies is going to be like having twins, goodluck with that elmo. 🤣😂🤣
  6. I hope he or she makes a full recovery, stunning looking birds. 🙂👍
  7. I'm the same with a catty i wack my knuckles and the boilies go about 3 feet.😂🤣😂
  8. I'm the opposite i love the throwing stick and hate the catty.🤣😂🤣
  9. Still time yet mate.😁👍🎣
  10. And to you mate, hope you and the lad are still smashing it.😁👍🎣
  11. I would say we've all done something similar in the past mate. 🤣😂🤣
  12. I do use qd reels for pike fishing but you want as little resistance as possible so I use them with open bail arms, as I would with any type of reel while pike fishing. 🙂👍🎣
  13. Good luck mate 🙂👍. I'm chewing at the bit to get on the bank but I've got horrible thing called work in the way.😂
  14. Good luck mate, I hope your plan comes together and you catch a chunky river carp.😁👍🎣
  15. Well I've gone 11 months without wetting a line but just recently I've been getting that urge again. I joined a new club in January 2020 and with the pandemic and family stuff not really had the use of it and to tell you the truth the few times I did go i didn't really jell with the waters or some of the other members, a bit clicky to say the least. But as I said just recently I have been getting that urge again, so the plan is to go back to my other club and start over, I won't be able to do any nights on there at the moment I'll have to wait for a night ticket that's if can get one. Also a mate of mine has bought a farm and there's a pond on there only a couple of acres if that but it was stock with carp years ago and they are still in there no idea of size or numbers but it's free fishing and no other anglers, So I've got my own pond and I will be doing nights on there. First job is to get up there and do some leading about and plumb the depth. Sorted all my gear today and the urge is even stronger now, not sure when my first trip out will be because of work and life but I'll keep watching YouTube and keep that urge going till I can get out. 😁👍🎣
  16. My Barrow has an inflatable tyre and touch wood I've not had any punctures, but you can buy the puncture proof wheels, I'm sure carp porter sell them as an extra or get one of ebay as long as you get the right size.🙂👍
  17. Have a practice at home, to me it's about getting the loading right. I had a cheap Barrow and that was terrible to push no matter how you loaded it. I now have a diawa Barrow and it's a dream to push the balance on it is perfect, when it's loaded right it pushes that easily it doesn't feel like there's anything on it and no strain on your arms at all. You will love having a Barrow if you haven't had one before it makes life so much easier getting to and from the lake.🙂👍🎣
  18. Only just seen your post if I'd seen it earlier i would of nip up for a chat but going to bed shortly I'm working tonight. 😭 i can't really help you mate not actually carp fished there much, spent more time piking, goodluck mate let us know how you get on. 🙂👍🎣
  19. Zigs on no2 quite tricky being 40ft deep and around 16 ft at the shallow end but I think you would have to use adjustable zigs and the same on no1 that being 25ft, but if that's what's catching give it a go mate.🙂👍🎣
  20. The night ticket is fan and heapey 1, no2 is part of the syndicate now but you can do days only on there, you can also do days only on no3. I've fished no2 a few times very hard water for the carp.
  21. Fingers crossed for you and your family mate.🤞
