I'm out Monday for 24hrs and hopefully out the following Saturday for at least another 24hrs, can't wait I'm itching to get out. I've got to go and get myself a new net this weekend. 🙂👍

Well my finished her 3 weeks of radiotherapy today and everything is looking good, she has to wait another 6 weeks for the official all clear. But it's all looking positive. I'd like to thank everyone for their support and well wishes on the forum. Cheers Keith. 👍

I was asking about the jrc defender because it have a carbon handle and arms and seems good value for the money and they have it at angling direct for £40. My last one a saber was £30 which was OK but was quite flimsy and the spreader block broke on Saturday, so instead of buying a new block I thought I would try and get a better quality one. Thanks for the advice mate. 👍

Does anyone have the jrc defender landing net. I would be interested on your thoughts about it. Any good or leave alone. I'm in the market for a new net any recommendations for a net around the £40.00 mark, I no it not much but I'm on a budget. Cheers 👍

I always fish on my own have done for years, my mates do fish and we always used fished together and I have some great memories but we have all gone into different disciplines of the sport now, I do enjoy fishing on my own for me personally I think I put more effort in when I'm fishing on my own. 👍

There was just me and one other on for the night, I had two small carp around 7lb and on the second one I got my net caught on some brambles and was pulling it to free it and snapped the spreader block, plastic stinky winky block. So my session was brought to an abrupt end at 2am. I was absolutely gutted mate could not believe it.😭😭😭

I might be doing 24hrs on Saturday till Sunday myself. My wife finally starts her treatment tomorrow for 3 days this week, so it all depends on how she's feeling, if she's not too good I won't go. So I might see you Saturday morning. 🙂👍
