  5. I5lb line is too high for a 1.5lb rod... be okay for a 3lb rod, but not a 1.5lber... I landed a 22lb 10oz Mirror on 8lb line, on a cane rod. Dunno how big your sharks go... but ours are BIG .....🤣😛🎣

Another nice mirror for January 21lbs Could've had a few more if the misses would've swapped swims. They were showing on her swim all day

Well done. Tench are a lovely fish, especially fishing on light tackle. There's a old estate lake I fish that I'm hopeful for a 10lber this year. So far just shy of 9lb last year

  9. Only change it if it needs it , or like yonny said just strip a bit off, you can then spend the money you've saved on other goodies 💰😍

  11. For years using Sensor I replaced it every 3months or so. It became a habit whether it had been fragged or not. I did have a few fish going through weed, so rather than risk it I changed it. I switched to Gardner Pro, and went back to every year. Then for some reason probably environmental and not seeing or feeling any damage while on Alton, made it 3years with the same line.

  13. Each section is 3ltr or bigger than a trade can of WD40 in real world terms, I estimate there is over 2kg of 12mm boilies in that one.

  14. Exactly why a vintage section would be a good addition to the forum, it would be a good way of documenting some of the history. It seems a shame for all the vintage stuff to get lost amongst the other posts.
