For all the members that have difficulty owning up to tackle purchases to their better half’s here’s a trick I came across …but be warned tho if you get greedy and abuse the said trick you could end up permanently damaged …
I pierce mine so they dont bother me. If anything they feel more secure with the large chunks for me. Funny how the attachment you use can change your view on something so drastically!
I would keep buying them but at £20 a pot is the reason I'm looking down the making my own route. Basemix from my bait guy and I can add to it and do what I want then. Probably cost me less than £20 a tub but I havent worked that out yet!
I like the SHB chunky granules. I'll maybe go for a smaller size but I dont mind them not being perfect balls, that's not what it's about for me.
I think it's the fully knowing and being able to adapt it myself as I go.
lets leave it on the other forum…
there’s only 1 animal who knows what fish want and that’s the fish.
anything that comes out of a humans gob is pure boll or they have something to sell.
Managed to get hold of a set of original Daiwa GS3000 Whisker's.
Convinced myself I'd sell the SS3000's to fund the purchase but obviously that's just not going to happen😅
Ordered a power barrow conversion kit for my Mk2 wide boy, might keel over long before it arrives (10-12 weeks), pushing through sodden ground getting stuck, unloading/re-loading - going again is about killing me off, although each week seems a little easier.
Renewal of res ticket.
Gone up £40??? For what??
I'm not too sure I'm getting my moneys worth.
However, after visiting a commercial day ticket recently, I feel very lucky to fish there and have all the space I could ever want😊
Now, I just need the time to put in a bit of effort and find the fish
