I came home Friday evening mate, rain was on its way and is in for the next couple days so packed up while it was dry ππ€£
I had a wicked session though mate. Really pleased that I got to fish there and having them 2 mirrors just topped it off π met some cool people and the bailiffs were wicked as well
I need to sort my fishing gear out and try and slim it down a bit, I took 2 barrow loads on that trip and didn't use half the stuff I took π€£
Awesome mate. I stayed on there an extra year trying to catch the Patch Common but it was not to be. It never came out again so I think I was fishing for a dead'n!!
I was lucky enough to catch Scaley. Twice in fact. What a kipper that was!
Ah , the warrior returns home triumphant πͺ .
It's been very entertaining waking up in the morning reading about your latest news , thanks very much .

A few from Kingy last week, 4 fish in shot, were loads in the snags.
2 from a previous syndicate, both mega fish Patch Common and Scaley mid 40 and mid 30.
Both mega fish caught neither. After 2 Scales I really wanted Two Tone but Mr O got him when he got in that tiny hole one winter- fishing for a ghost - still gutted now - why my fish lol
Seen a pic of patch caught from the lake over the river pre syndi days.
"Lancashire Potato Hash"- Spuds, Carrots, Mince, onion all bunged into a pot with some oxo/stock ππππ
Easy meal, can be frozen and reheated, it's funny because a neighbour made a Hot Pot pie for mi Nan n grandad yesterday, went down well with Buttered Crusty bread n Beetroot slices .
Did you grow up on Lancashire potato hash? Or "tattie ash" as I believe it's otherwise known.
I googled meat n Tato slice and that came up looks quite nice π²
Proper northern comfort food apparently. Eaten with bread n butter and red cabbage.
Started our Under 14's Grassroots football season last week, so far we've won 2 from 2.......4-1 last week & 5-2 today.
Training twice a week Monday n Thursday, I join in when I'm on my 6-2 shift.
Needs must mate. I used to use a biscuit tin lid and a couple of coins on the spool way back as did a lot of anglerβs, now if they could replicate the sound of that on an alarm il buy a set. I bought the rods in while I sleptβ¦ one of the pegs went flying this morning but it was pigeon hopping over the lines π
