6 and a bit will do for me today. The over half a year blank is over 🤯🎉🎉 They were literally ripping it out of me for hours this morning, topping, fizzing and making me think my rigs were broken etc etc etc. When finally it went into meltdown and tore through a good few pads along the way, I'm off the mark, come on the carps, bloke next door had a 32lber this morning that was a lovely fish I want one of those next please 🙏

Well chuffed with my new free-spirit Helicals. May have to nip down the water tomorrow for a few casts.

Good luck gents. Wishing I was fishing😭 Not out until first weekend of June. On the the upside, finally collected my free spirit Helical 13 ft rods today. They look very nice for the money, super lightweight. I'll set up my reels and take a pic tomorrow.

They taunted me all afternoon, I may have overdone the baiting, but I guess the Rudd will have done some damage, hopefully we can nick one overnight or in the morning though.

Yes mate, my only ticket is the reservoir. More often than not I don't use the boat once I'm in the swim, so nice to put one or two at distance. At 100 yds it's around 8-10ft, 120-40 yds it 12 -16 ft. I do need to get some pit reels, but everything seems to be breaking for me too. Just had to get a loan for a new motor myself. Painful!

Not sure what phone you have but some mobiles have excellent cameras on them. I downloaded a whistle camera app. I put the phone in selfie mode so I can see the screen and you simply "whistle" and it takes a pic. The reason I downloaded it was because I really struggled to hold the fish whilst I had the remote button in my hand for my camera, daft I know but I just couldn't do it. Though if you really want a dslr then most of my mates have Canon camera's and the odd one has a nikon. What model's I don't know off the top of my head.

Hard going, had a Carp almost a double, Bream and a lovely Tench almost 5lb which made my day.

Rods are all out 1 solid bag, 2 on spinners,lakes busy but I got my old favourite haunt so I am happy I cast them all too rather than use the boat,5 casts to get 3 rods with drops I'll take that, although I have since dumped 3 boat loads of bait out was a bit like Dover to calais crossing for a bit 😂 All in all solid start, confidence is high, just had a liner come on the carps.

How's it going Elmo....🎣🎣🎣 I've not gone, instead blowing 200 balloons up for presentation statues and arch for tomorrow.... In the Team colours... 4 of these... And the below arch in Yellow n Blue, but 2 of these.... Then nits having a silver drop background for photos with awards... All these are being done in the morning, only done 1 to test...
