Thanks for the reminder, I have to go plug in my block heater for a few hours if I want to go anywhere today; it's -35 this morning. Naturally, if you need a new battery every place is closed for New Year's.... Happy New Year everyone!3 points

Happy New year to everyone and I hope it's a good one for everyone and you're family's. I certainly hope me and my family have a better one, The end of 2021 wasn't a good one for me and mine, I've been quiet about it but my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in September, so the fight goes on. Everything is looking good though. So here's to a good one for us all and our families. 👍3 points

Took a little while had to go and buy a booster from Halfords, I've got 2 rods out in the dark and sort of found some spots pub chucks tonight lol but I am sort of fishing 😂 got the house up now going to make the 3rd a solid bag rod and pump that into the abyss too, I'm not in a bad area to listen for signs though and I found some rudd flipping so thought if they are here there may also be carp2 points -

You can get a couple of layers doing that. As the egg dries it gets quite hard, but because it is not boiled gradually softens in the lake.1 point -
Here you go mate I got 1 of these in the summer excellent bit of kit, I can fit my landing net and pole plus my retention sling, I think they can hold 2 slings if need be.😁👍
