Check these little funky pop ups, they smell quite amazing too garlic and banana, works so much better than you would think

Alton there is no fishing from the dam wall, so you are limited to the banks either side. I actually tried to avoid the dam area for carp fishing, sailing club, wind/kite surfers, the remains of the water park buoys where everything was tethered, and fished as far away as possible. A southerly or south westerly wind pushed fish to the other end of the reservoir, where depths and banks were more manageable. I did occasionally have to add long legs, banksticks onto my P1 pod. I also used a lot of chopped or half boilies to stop rolling down slopes, although the deepest I found was the old stream bed(s) at 22feet.

I still have an original Micron M in my bag as a spare. Still works perfectly.

I also had a set of Microns M’s my 1st alarms great sound, my mate had them to and if we doubled up in the swim and one went off I used to say please be mine as we both crashed out of the bivves. I thought I was the bees knees when I finally got the sounder box and wires to go with them.... tripped over them wires to. 🙄 Only time they let me down was the once in freezing fog when the rollers froze up ... but that was down to the weather conditions really.

Thanks for the advice. What's your thoughts on the below images. I've taken out the hard plastic sleeve supplied with the lead and used a korda tail rubber which seems to fit perfectly inside the lead with the swivel in the end. Not sure if this is something anyone else has tried? When I put my rig on the swivel and shake it a little the lead pulls away do not does seem alot safer than the hard plastic supplied with the lead.
