Ready made tigers yes or no?

As for tigers, look up "whitetigerfishing". Not the cheapest but by far the best tigers you will ever use. ๐3 points -

Loads of anglers doing well on it. Nigel will do well on any bait in all fairness.2 points -

I know a few people on this, they rate it very highly. In fact one of my older fishing mates has always made his own bait. He got to know the fella at Blake's and last year took some as an alternative bait to france. He was top rod for the week, all on Blake's and not a single one on his bait. He's always slated readymade bait but he now uses Blake's. That for me is high praise from this fella. If for whatever reason I stopped using prem it would be who I'd use.2 points -
Back to pastures old

Last night I set myself a challenge to make a simple pop up rig that can be used with a mesh bag, and also be used low and still be fairly stiff, I've also gone off putty as something seems to bee eating it, a couple of times now it's been gone in the morning when I've reeled in ๐ข Hydrolink is great stuff, you can overcome so many things with it, for simple hinge rigs it's perfect, I found I could make a nice simple rig with stiff rig hooks, chod hooks, curve shank and trig hammers, and it's completely height adjustable easily, My phone camera is cracked so apologies for the pic ๐ธ๐2 points -

Baitrunner ST fix?
Carpbell_ll reacted to carpepecheur for a topic
I had a similar problem. I could not tighten up the rear drag tight enough. All I did was loosen the baitrunner drag as far as it would go then strip off some line against the light drag. I then reset it to it normal position and was then able to tighten up the rear drag enough after that, I have no explanation why but worth a try before going in.1 point -

Funnily enough I just bought some boiled baits off them as the Trent Baits lads were on holiday. I went for the HNV Pro. Looks ok.1 point -

I think if nuisance fish ate them i might take a risk but its not worth it, I got my pellets from blakes baits last week, brilliant service, really quick delivery and there dry particles and pellets are keenly priced too will order from them in the future I think1 point -

Fair play elmo. If you're confident in the spot and these could ruin that, bin them๐1 point -

I dunno if I want to prebait with them even, I would rather the spots were fresh produce only, if they don't get eaten quickly will be left with rancid bait on them, not worth taking the chance I think, i emailed monster again last night about it will see what they say, I did email at the time they told me to use water and sugar, that hasn't worked, so will see what they say now1 point -

At least you two aren't fishing on my baited spots any more ๐ That reminds me must take my boiler suit to the dry cleaners, ๐น๐ป Seriously though I think I might done a Todd in my pants and packed up too, no need for that sort of behavior at night when you are fishing ๐1 point -
Well I blanked my bottom off friday and saturday and whilst it was sheeting it down this morning, I had a screaming run which took me straight through a weedbed.... one cut off hookink later and I was holding a straight rod after seeing a huge orange tail move a ton of water in a huge swirl.... gutted... my only chance and i miffed it up... ho hum... Couple of nice fish out though... a 28 to my buddy Neil which tied his B.James MkIV into knots and left it permanently bent, and and another chap had a 34 at midnight last night... couple more 20's out too.... sadly I blanked1 point
