I'm almost ashamed of my eating habits on the bank. The most extravagant meal I have is a bacon sarnie or a cheese/ham toasty. These exquisite meals are normally supplemented by chocolate and crisps. Tbh I don't eat much at all on the bank. My appetite, which is normally pretty good, just goes out the window when I'm fishing for some reason. That made me chuckle. My kind of meal lol.2 points -

Not always so healthy, bacon sandwiches on Tuesday lunchtime, although porridge for breakfast was a bit better. (Prepared and eaten in saucepan). For a session of a couple of days, I can keep a pint of milk in my coolbag, although I do have to have goats milk. Ages ago we had a Bankside recipes thread, I do still like decent cooking when I'm fishing. I can't live on Pot meals, and 2/3nights is roughly what meat keeps for in the bag. Onions, peppers even mushrooms will last that.2 points -

All this cooking on the bank is making me look lazy, I do only do days but my norm is porridge in a pot just a hot water for breakfast and tinned Aldi chicken curry for lunch and crisps and snacks the rest of the time. And plenty of tea to drink. π π1 point -

I see what you are saying, would maybe better with a straight point, I guess the silicone moves when the bait gets picked up and straightens a bit , but something to think about none the less, I do tend to mainly fish pop ups and wafters tbh but always seeking to improve the rig so cheers1 point -
Losing the buzz

Having given up for a good few years I have to say Ive not been this excited about a fishing trip for ages, I spodded out a load of bait ready for tomorrow all on a lovely gravel strip every spod hit the clip and I just cant wait to get there now, I feel a little confident tbh maybe one of those elusive carp will slip up, if not i will learn something and get a step closer I'm just glad I've found the buzz again I feel like that kid that's peering over the edge of the pond through the reeds, looking for the mysterious big one that you only see as the sun goes down Happy days1 point -
