  2. If your fishing hele style just use a quick clip , all nicely hidden under a sleeve, have a look at the esp buffer sleeves, they work well & do soak up the bounce of the lead a fair bit tbh when playing a fish . Just had a quick look .... there esp chod rig sleeve

  4. Thermacare back pads.... my back and knees are shot to bits and the pads work wonders on my back... wear them over a tee shirt as they can get very hot... I also go to pilates classes and they have helped strengthen my core so my back is properly supported... give it a go

    Cheap rig putty?

agree with yonny. I use Kryston, I don't think the quality has got worse at all since the takeover. Couple of extra quid than the rest but well worth it IMO. I've not had to buy any more for a year or so now though so maybe it has changed since I last purchased some 🤷‍♂️

  7. Buddy Elmo. You have struck a cord with me about backs, I too have had problems almost all my life. Being 6'2'' and quite well build tall people often have that problem sadly. Mine was helped finally with yoga, find some good back exercises on You-Tube and give them a try. Most of mine are floor exercises, with yoga work that helps your hips and lower back. I urge you to give it a try, surgery did not work for me, and yogi is far less intrusive. I hope your work are sympathetic to you? Best wishes. Rich.

    Cheap rig putty?

Imo it's not worth saving a quid or two when it comes to something as critical as rigs. If you're looking to save cash save it on the big superficial buys - shelters , bedchair etc.

  9. I was using my throwing stick yesterday, I was really struggling to get 10yrd, then realised the boilie's weren't dropping down the tube properly, I was throwing boilie's that had been glugged and I thought some had stuck inside, so I tried washing out with some water, no better. So I gave it a good few bangs on the ground and the biggest slug I ever seen in my life fell out of the end. 😁😁😁

  10. I will prevent other fish taking my bait when I'm stalking ,so not to ruin any chance of the one I want , if I can't do that , then I'm not stalking . Like I said in my earlier post I have to be able to see the fish for me to call it stalking. But that's just me everyone's different. 😉
