  1. Life can be cruel mate. I like to say we have poo times , so we can appreciate the good/normal times. I'm on the bank next weekend, end of a 3 year ticket, which has produced a 20 odd stocky, in about 20 nights. So here's hoping for a wet net for both of us!

  2. You can spot where the carp are prepared to feed a mile off on silty lakes mate. Just look for the areas of coloured water and for fizzing. Silt is imo the most forgiving substrate to fish, you can chuck almost anything at it, but I'd go with a heli set up and a balanced hookbait bait. My first port of call would be to focus on observation. Your eyes and the fish should tell you what you need to know. Good luck.

  3. Not copies lads, they're the same product from the same factory with a different label attached. They even come in the Trakker/Aqua boxes.

  4. A mate of mine has got the cyprinus Brolly system which I think is a copy of the Aqua fast and lite. He can't fault it. I had a Brolly overwrap from them, easily 5 yrs old and never leaked in that time.

  5. It is mate being away from the house & yard is not ideal, with the rural crime the way it is. I chased off two scumbags who had broke into are buildings gone through the cars etc a while back , luckily there were still making piles of what to take so didn't get away with anything really . Back at the yard now installing cameras which I will hopefully be able to view from anywhere. That hasn't gone to plan though lol the first hard drive I had must of been a return , but they went through the start up and set a password I couldn't get passed so had to swap it . Just hope my luck turns sat behind the rods, for the first time since August in France at the end of next week 😁 saying that though I do get the train 30 mins after brexit

  6. Heh.... went out to Ashlyns on Sunday and the two lads I was with both had barrows.... I rolled up pulled my kit out of the car (two rods and brolly, ruckie and food and bait bag with Avid lo-chair on top, and I was on the water before they had loaded the barrows up I was two thirds of the way through setting up when they arrived... Lightweight, mobile, small kit is the way forward chaps👍 (Still blanked me bum off though🤣😛😎)
