    pebble drop off system

Ooo yes... Or something thick like molassess or krill juice to hold the bottom mixed with an oil to rise up, the flow would help it cover a fair area. You could even freeze the stones with the cork concoction, keep them in a cool box on the bank, this would slow the release more...

  4. I'd have to say 'Get on the goo' Cork soaked in goo would give off great attraction (In my opinion ) which, at a guess, I would say have not been seen in a river.

I'd agree with androoooo, less food and more smell, cork and liquid sounds good, could you be quite economical and say have cork with a few drops of essential oil and nbyrtic? Expert opinions needed to pursue that further though!

    gear wish list.

Hello Jon , I can obviously only recommend what I use myself mate . It's all reasonably priced stuff that you would pay a lot more for were it sold by Fox or Nash . http://m.gooutdoors.co.uk/tfgear-cross-pod-p271560 http://www.climaxtackle.com/maver/quiver_holdall.htm http://www.tacklebox.co.uk/bait-making-equipment/air-drying/the-air-dry-boilie-bag-company-5kg-air-dry-bag.html#/product/40055 That'll do for starters matey , I'll post the rest when I can

  7. My preferred go to pattern is Fox SSBP, but I find they work best with a kicker. I wanted to try a simplify things and all the talk of the krank seemed worth a go, also I used to really like Carp R us off set nailers, I just cant cant them at my local these days. so I got pack of kranks. I wouldn't be put off using kranks if they've been working for you, I think my problems were probably due to needing a few tweaks with the hair but as I didn't want to waste time tweaking or risk losing one next I went back to what Im confident in. I agree hutch, the twisting was most likely during the fight though I don't think the point ever buried down more like due to the offset point it went through like a safety pin, then as it flipped over side to side during the scrap pierced again etc to create the nipple effect.

  8. Hook pattern depends on rig to be fair, for example D Rigs, Stiff Hinge etc.. i would use an out turned eye (personal preference is a Arma Point SR) Combi Rigs, Blow back style .. I would use a wide gape (personal preference is Arma Point SSBP)

    gear wish list.

Lead bag, Terry Eustace used to do a padded odds and sods bag (had mine 10 years plus and still good) Quiver, Both the wife and me use Trakker 5 rod quiver and sleeves bought separately when money allowed. Bank sticks, Stainless I`m afraid (heavy but as tough as cockroaches) but pricey Bobbins, Cant fault Gardner bug cradles for slack line work and I still have my blue osprey light up bobbins (tarty but I love em) Landing net, Mesh loose from Tackle box, Handle Daiwa Black widow (tough and light) Arms and spreader cannibalise your existing. Well that's my 10 pence worth I`ll get me coat Cheers Ian

Apart from number 10 and number 3 (comfy chair), I can't help much as I don't own anything on your wish list except a lead bag, which contains various bait punches and without looking, I've no idea who made it as I got it from a bargain bucket and to me they all look pretty much the same. As to a comfy chair, I have a Nash PegOne chair which I find very comfy, I can attach a rod rest to it, bait tray and wheels which means I can carry all my gear on it. I don't think they make it any more though.
