All I could find... back in the early days it used to be all Nash Gear provided, there were a coupla very old poor reviews back in the day but its changed hands since I heard...

I considered it for my French trip and ended up at Les Quis instead

It was owned or run by Kevin Nash, but he was forced to give it up.

I fished this last year and really enjoyed it, absolutely stunning venue and will definitely be back one day. Was setup in it's current guise by Nash, but something went on and he had to get out of there, there's a Nash podcast about it and worth the listen to get Kev's side of the story, or as he tells it.

We drove down, which from Lancashire was a bit too far, 2 days there and 2 days back and will definitely fly next time.

We fished in the Sanctuary swim, or the Oven as some call it, and we found out why even in the early October sunshine. It's a boat job to get your kit there, but they do that for you. You'll also need boats to get to the facilities from there, it's a boat across one section, walk through the forest a bit then a rope ferry across to the other side, proper adventure and don't be put off by that, only a handful of swims are in that vein. You get plenty of water and it's all very straight forward what water is yours.

Mark the Owner was great as were the Bailiff's. Food package was good and well worth having, fishing was good for us, brilliant for some and not so great for others, but that's fishing, I think you'd be unlucky to have a bad week on there. There were quite a few smaller fish being caught, and I mean pasties, some were affected but others didn't have any. I only had 2, and had several other fish to 49lb, quite a few thirties. Lost a right lump out in the middle of the lake in the lilies. Fishing into the lilies can be daunting but is exciting stuff fishing tight lines and fairly locked up at 200 yds approx (not many areas at this range), hitting single beeps and out in the boat to land a few fish, but I quite enjoy that style of fishing when it's required.

It's a stunning lake and some swims are an adventure to get to shall we say, but all part of the experience. Definitely will be going back in the future, but will be flying!
