 Recommendations please, under £50, portable and easy on the battery life. Need it for the sport coverage.

I'm not sure how much data it uses really mate. I don't think it's too bad. Worth a bash? 

If not, you can't beat argos for electricals.

Roberts were always really good dab radios, mine was pretty bomb proof survived trips to work and all sorts still works must be nearly 20 years old, I do have another one now but I can't remember who it's made by will have a look tomorrow

I keep looking/meaning to buy 1 too... Mate of mine paid 50p for 1 off car boot about 5years ago... Takes 4 of the big mahooosive batteries and still going strong... Did offer him £20 but still no.

Just looked at a Roberts sports Dab comes with headphones small could fit in my overalls pocket £59 🤔

Tesco's do a cheapest one for about £25, been using it for about 18 months

Is that a headphones only one though? Dunno if I would want to use headphones for 3 days solid

The play 10 one looks pretty good for the money I think, still fairly small 18cm long 10cm high, haven't heard one though but my mate used to have a portable one which sounded pretty decent

I got the goodmans from B&M 20 quid, bit heavy on cheap Duracell batteries constant play will get around 48 hours on four AA batteries, that's me crushing them after they first start to run out to get up 48 hours. the batteries are Duracell but i get them from the bargain shops, They tend to get brand name products that are smaller in size than normal, might be the same with the batteries?

Pure, Sports DAB  me and the mrs got one each for the cricket... think they are over 50 quid now though

I would I think, most have headphone sockets anyway if you wanted to use headphones 👍

Yes mate, I take it all the time. It's quite compact  reception is good (I rarely have to put the aerial up) and battery life is pretty decent.

I went for the Tesco dab for £20 and a hand held portable Azaton for work £33 perfect for when I’m on the move.
