dalthegooner
I've been out all day and was gonna watch it tomorrow. Unfortunately, five minutes from home they broadcast the result on the radio (And not on the news) But nevertheless, well done to the English ladies for securing third spot by defeating Germany

buzzbomb
I'll bbq a couple of burgers in between my CFL game (which we're winning at present) and the FIFA championship. What a life!
dalthegooner
Great set piece from the USA. 1-0 within 3 minutes.
dalthegooner
And its now 2-0 within five minutes. Absolutely shocking defending from Japan
dalthegooner
Boom! 3-0 to the Yanks within a quarter of an hour. Well taken goal but more shocking defending by Japan. And the States have made it 4-0 before I press post. Absolutely fantastic goal. Goal of the tournament and the first ladies hatrick in the World Cup

dalthegooner
And thats the world cup final ? That says it all im afraid . Germany beat Brazil 7-1 in the semi final of the men's World Cup, Tim. Bearing that in mind, your statement holds little credence
dalthegooner
Japan nick a goal and make it 4-
buzzbomb
I hope Buzz doesn't burn his burgers, when he sees the score [emoji14]Burgers were great, the CFL game went to overtime (my team lost) and when FIFA came on the US was already on the board. I'm giving football and beer a rest and sitting on the verandah with a vermouth and lime. Past the step and over the apple orchard and the Sikh temple you can see some smoke. 50 minutes gone, it would be a good game for Japan to win. And then it was 4 - 2.[emoji6] And the US answers immediately! High scoring game here... Vermouth -
newmarket
sounds like Japan need BFS. Quite . As do thailand & the other countries that lost by cricket scores during the ladies world cup . Dal , i think the Gernany/brazil game in the mebs competition may have been a one-off freak scoreline mate
newmarket
don't think so , Chile just won the South American cup Brazil were no where. The point is mate that nobody conceded silly amounts of goals and that the ladies game has a long way to go to make it palatable (to me). Ironically , and this is just my opinion , England were , in a couple of the games , not too far away from a BFS style team . Contain , contain , contain , strike , park the bus . Not all their games but a couple for sure . I even joked last week that that Sampson bloke should be in charge of the mens team . Changes his team & tactics to suit the opposition . newmarket
did you see the team he picked ? 2 maybe 3 of those players will be part of the losing team at Arsenal on opening weekend . that was the same team that pretty much nigh on got us relegated last season . Notice the Sam n******rs are turning on the club already ? Downing spitting feathers in the Express cos Bilic didn't try hard enough to keep him and Norun has realised that Sam,s no longer his benefactor so wants out . good , let him go enjoy his 50 grand a week sitting on somebody elses bench , Edited July 24, 2015 by newmarket

Now I can see it going pear shaped.

dalthegooner
Taken from Skysports: Here is England's all-time record against the teams who they have been drawn against. They have played one of the sides a few more times than the others! England v Scotland: P 112, W 47, D 25, L 41, F 198, A 172 England v Slovakia: P 3, W 3, D 0, L 0, F 8, A 2 England v Slovenia: P 4, W 4, D 0, L 0, F 9, A 4 England v Lithuania: P 1, W 1, D 0, L 0, F 4, A 0 England v Malta: P 3, W 3, D 0, L 0, F 8, A 1 As CM says, easy peasy (Hopefully)
newmarket
sorry I cant get the quote facility to work , for Mufty the bit after Christmas that saw us win 3 games out of 25 or something like that . that is most certainly relegation FORM Muft and if that bad run had began a month earlier we would have been sucked into that dogfight for sure. you cant KEEP telling me to be careful what I wish for mate , now he is safely out of the way even Sams staunchest backers have slipped back into the wood work . I reckon the reason that our squad seems to be getting an almighty overhaul is simple . when the Dudley dinosaur leaves a club he leaves it in such a state and they are not in a position to rectify it. my theory is that we , West Ham , are . that's why none of the new signings/big names are getting any game time in the Europa., Bilic is fielding the old guard so he can evaluate em . just a theory , time will tell . start on me at xmas mate ,
