emmcee Posted September 16, 2011 Report Posted September 16, 2011 when it comes to coated braid then my first choice is Atomic Tackles "jellywire" after that then kryston coated braids would be my next choice Quote
zander1 Posted September 16, 2011 Report Posted September 16, 2011 Your question is a bit vague mate. What properties are you looking for? What is it you think the best coated braid offers? Quote
chris71 Posted September 17, 2011 Report Posted September 17, 2011 Sufix heavy skin is what I use Quote

Guest Anonymous Posted September 30, 2011 Report Posted September 30, 2011 Nash coated missing link braid all the way Quote
beza26 Posted September 30, 2011 Report Posted September 30, 2011 I use fox coretex or mantis and highly rate them both, although there's a few i haven't used like Nash missing link so couldn't say what's better. If your buying from a company such as these your never going to be far away mate Quote
carefulcarping Posted September 30, 2011 Report Posted September 30, 2011 Only used ESP strip teaze coated braid, done me well this year, but have never used coated braid before so cant compare with any other braid. Quote
salokcinnodrog Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 kryston all the way for me Definitely the best. Stood the test of time, so I see no reason to change. I have never had a Kryston braid or coated braid give way on me, and their putty is also the best www.kryston.com Quote

Seem like a great company, looks like the kryston braid is a winner on this thread I agree, I've got spools of kryston braid in my tackle box that have been there for YEARS! and they're still going strong, however I've not used many other braids, and never coated so I wouldn't know which is best... I do feel however that its a case of better the devil you know... I also use their putty and wouldn't use anything else, had it in my box for a fair few years now, It went all hard, but 30 seconds over the stove sorted that and its just like new! don't know how many other putties would last like that :/ Quote
