  1. Depends what you take , I only take a phone switch the mobile data off and it lasts ages , small powerbank just in case .
  2. It may be obscene , but thats what happens in a commercial world ,Bale is global comparing his wages to a non global commercial worker is like chalk and cheese two totally different pay structures . Is the system wrong maybe but what are the alternatives .
  3. No wonder your not catching NOW fold them handles LOL
  4. We don't Know we need anything until its created and sold to us , how basic do you want to go . Hunter gatherer ? creating is something that makes us human.
  5. If I ever come up with a good idea and patent it then you bet I'll want to earn out of it !!
  6. It's the only way to buy a lot of fishing gear , you need to handle it and ideally feel the rod and reel together .
  7. Companies like Nash need to re-invent , we've had the chod, ronnie etc , they'll probably bring a range of end tackle out sold around using the snowman . Just remember there is little if anything new in fishing
  8. I must admit I find it a little far fetched to say its been adapted to suit the angler , made different maybe so that it looks nice and fits in the tackle box or economical packaging from China (to save money) I'm not knocking what Nash are doing as they are a business who's sole purpose is to make money , its just how it's trying to sold as unique.
  9. Nige your sound to much like a Nash salesman ooops you are
  10. I didn't say they have !! Nash are or should be more like Nike as they have a strong brand name the problem is they shoot themselves in the foot quite often , NGT are your primark. The problem for companies the size of Nash is staying innovative in a packed market where every product is copied overnight by other companies.
  11. Only to a point , Nike don't rebadge primark trainers . I do totally agree with your 2nd point though .
  12. Not sure if its possible ,but you really need to handle some to compare them . I've always found rods a personal thing although it does look like you had already made your mind up before asking the question .
  13. HAHA , look at the reviews they have actually sold some , the worlds gone mad , saying that my neighbour probably has one , he does two fully loaded barrow trips for a day session .
  14. I'm not a massive Nash fan but its Bit harsh saying scamming IMO .
  15. I've still got some , I remember splicing a few different braids as well as stichting various ones back onto themselves , in theory as long as there is a bit of give in the braid then you can splice or stitch it as the tighter you pull the tighter it grips .
  16. Anybody remember the Kesmark octo-splice ?
  17. I think a lot of carp anglers see boilies as the 'only' bait , the same as pleasure anglers used to only use maggots .
  18. Good points , I'll see if i can find out some more info . It popped up on my faceache from Essexandy? (Andy Halcyon pool Essex)
  19. Yes I've seen them do similar as well , my point is though I wonder when they are feeding in such a way are they actually getting any / much nutritional benefit from the food or is it just passing straight through . Do we know how long their system needs to digest / utilise food .
  20. I like to use a good quality food based boilies so that I know the carp are getting some benefit from eating them , but I do think we give them a little to much credit in being able to pick food on its nutritional value .
  21. Please see link and sign - http://chng.it/NH9GtjP4Ns
  22. Maybe we're doing it wrong by using boilies that meet a carps needs , as they may eat less due to their nutritional need being fulfilled , this leading to the fish being on the feed less. Playing devils advocate a little
  23. One of the waters I use Maize on is full of Rudd and corn just gets devoured in minutes hence the use on maize .
  24. It's a very interesting subject , I wonder how long their digestive system needs to utilise the nutrients , in the case of tigers I've witnessed that aswell but I wonder if the digestive system is actually pulling any nutrients out of them . i should read up on it a bit more .
