very nice you will have to train him to be a judas otter. Shure i seen a flash of one the other day way too big to be a rat crashed through the undergrowth in a drainage ditch and off under a fence, could of been a mink the fur was too glossy and nice looking to be a rat. I know a certain lake owner that bursts into rants about pictures of cute otters on shopping bags lol. the otter as it increases in number don't seem that interested in large fish especially in weedy waters, they seem to be looking for a regular and easy food source. i know in Alaska the otter all live around people raiding bins and fish factory waste and that's with salmon in ankle deep water on their last legs.

Drove past Terry's shop in brum the other week he is still open thought he would of closed, must be his family running the shop?
-
not that i would but it ain't half tempting to get a bit of the cherry red, that would save a few quid for sure, just don't fancy pulling out a green lane running on red.

i have upgraded or replaced a few items it was needed though my original plan was to klarna a few things, glad i never now. reminds of when i was at barston a few years back guy out with the mrs and kids had the whole catalogue with him, i set my gear up and his mrs started to list off what i didn't have with me like you shouldn't be angling without all the carp gear, cradles and that all set up ready to use, think he had been telling her a few porkies. lol.

the one slight niggle with fred, and he only does it with me, face biting lol very gentle with it then again all terriers can be face biters Dave from the trust had a serious potential for it, i don't mind working with it so long as it's done like puppy play, little git. I don't think he has bonded before with a human, he won't leave my side he was covered in sweets when i got him stuck in his fur. got him sitting and staying, goes to his bed when told and is starting to recall, all since saturday.

showed the mrs the evening dress pic, don't worry pet ya man still has it lol it's amazing what a throw away line can do, she modeled her new dress for a works xmas do, i called it the wife botherer wear or something like that, she found it ever so funny, pretty much ran through her whole collection since. i'm only messing around she is well aware of that, still i was quite amazed with myself to be honest .

you get to see where the weed would be only a light cover or jungle shows up little clear spots you might not find with an older model can tell you how thick silt is or if it's a thin coat over a hard bit. that sort of thing once you get the hang of it.

the latest ones also give the best detail the sand coloured one works best from what i have been told it's not just the deeper nearly every lake including syndicates is mapped out on the deeper site, get the app and you can work wraps out water depth and shelf changes you can sign up with a debit card and cancel anytime, gives you satellite maps so you can see trees and bars. https://maps.fishdeeper.com/en-ww

reminds me i need to get the solar a1 stabilizer to match the pod, can't go ruining the visuals by using bungee cord and peg, or a umbrella spike which would work better. https://www.solartackle.co.uk/products/a1-aluminium-accessories/a1-aluminium-bankstick-stabiliser

all about the packaging these days fox box the snag ears up as though they were jewlery.

i'm half tempted to sell the motor i bought two years back, i could easily double my money, i checked we buy any car for a looky look i can get 2k more than i paid for it. only prob i would need a replacement. Bivvy prices are sort of fair depending on what you get, tents are around the same money and the speck is light and flimsy as that's what is best, if you beefed one up with thick material and solid bars the price would be very high. it's the end tackle as well 20 notes yesterday on links and swivels buffer beads that kind of stuff, at least when my ticket starts i won't be needing to buy any bits for the rest of the year. The emcast 25a is a nice reel you can turn them into a quick drag if you like, i have never felt the need though. same for the new mini microns good solid alarm.

modern cars, could just be the computer needs a diagnostics check and cancelling the warning lights if no obvious fault happened when they lite up, still a pain, sounds like a simple reset if they all came on, if you can get it done by a call out guy or buy your own machine you can get them quite cheap these days, you will know for sure if there is a fault, the dealer could just cancel the warning lights and ignore the fault. -
no such thing as no fishing on public acces waters, those friends of the park groups can make the suggestion can even put signs up, but you can fish it with a EA rod licence. they tried to end angling on the swanswell in cov, i burned a local councillor on FB he was gutted powerless fool.
