This is why one set of rods can’t do it all… but if you can only have the one set do you go for a set that can cast to the moon or struggle to get over 80 yards?? im lucky and have a set for any situation I may encounter if that means using a 6’ rod or a 13’ poker then so be it

I have a couple for freshwater use one of those yellow hobbies that attach to the bait boat and a deeper pro plus. I turn the fish finder part off and just use them as a mapping tool my gps fish finder on my boat I use all the features on it but then I am fishing in the sea ..

It really doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks your fishing and how you choose to angle for them is your choice alone i have a bait boat and have never used it in England, mainly because the waters I fish do not allow them. that means I still have to be able to cast and feature find so it will never be a forgotten part of fishing for me some of the day tickets I fish you will be on a loser if you don’t use them I just choose not to.simply,because to me my fishing isnt a numbers game couldn’t think of anything worse than fishing the Tom maker style 50 fish a day would be so boring to me…
