Spoilt for choice now

From what ive heard of the other pools none of them are runs waters, dont know where id have to slit myself for it to be my throught either?

Are there not 50`s in there anyway? Dont think so - there are 6 40's in Kingy no 50's The 'Z' fish in Swan Lake is usually 49 but was caught last year at 52 though the people I have spoken to say that it was definately mis-weighed - I think it even came out later that year at 49 To me the lakes at Bluebell seem to be super rich in natural food - they always have been. The record fish in each species tells you thats the case. The small stockies that were flooded into Swan have gone 30+ in a short period of time and all of the lakes hold 30's so I cant see it being long until we see another huge fish. Plus theres always the chance of a previously uncaught whacker coming from Sandmartin or Mallard as some have been seen. Coops: Yes I'm sure the business will be OK too - afterall it is a very decent venue in peaceful surroundings. I tried Elsons for the first time on Jan 1st but it didnt thaw quick enough so I ended up on Kingy instead - just my luck ! You could see the fish moving about in the small un-frozen bit right in the middle - teasing me Next time eh Maybe thats the one im thinking of then, remember seeing on their website in the gallery a 50 something had been out. Mate loads and loads (many thousands) of people came to catch Benson and Creature full stop! The Don and Frank Warwick did a fair amount of time on Swan no doubt hoping for the creature. People seem to travel absolutely miles to fish the place - but with the big 2 gone (60's) theres probably somewhere nearer to them with 30's and the odd 40 in to keep them happy? It was the lure of a UK 60 that drew a good portion of customers in - surely a large enough percentage to seriously damage income. Worrying enough for Tony to immediately consider trying to find replacements! Hopefully though he will not panic and choose to leave the stock alone and just wait a couple more years for existing fish to take their place - which I'm sure they will. Afterall one of the 40's is borderline 50 now. Are there not 50`s in there anyway?

Thats probably because it would probably work out dearer to fish there for a week than france would be, which was why he couldnt go to france anyway,and more than likely catch a lot less.

Never fished it myself but know a couple who have. Apparantly very weedy in the summer so would be growing back nicely when you go . Everyone trys to just find the clear spots in the weed but to be honest how long everyones been doing that on there id be more inclined to fish in the weed. Hope the bait comes under your birthday pressie too, it`ll cost you a fortune for a weeks worth of bait from THEIR on site shop. Good luck.

That thread on blackroot pool on sutton park has just reminded me, does anyone know anything about the pool on Telford park? I went there back in the summer to take the little one to that wonderland thing and had a walk round. There was a chap float fishing who said carp and cats upto 30? No night fishing but people do and nothing gets said basically and same goes for the money, meant to be a few quid a day but no-one ever comes round for it. Anyone with any knowledge of the place? Lovely looking water.

Pretty much the same as what id gathered on the place when i thought about giving it a bash there. Dont know about elmovillan but i heard they went upto 30 in there, ive seen pictures of twentys. When i went to that park i came in from the top entrance (if that makes any sense), dont know how far it is to the pool from the other entrance but if its anywhere near the same as the top one it would be a very nice trek.

I have been using Mo's for a while, and while fishing this weekend decided to tie up a few more rigs; the stuff I got from Mo worked a treat Just hold it in the steam from the kettle as I brewed up, piece of cake I always do this with the korda shrink tube and have never had any problems, works fine No, I'll leave that you are happy, large and bold enough to use Korda tackle, then I'll embarrass you with that comment later I'll also not tell you that you can edit your own posts and change the font size I know i can edit my own posts, im just useless to be quite honest . I am happy, large and bald, i mean bold, and i stand by my comment, its worked fine for me, as has kordas pva tape that i have. Thats as far as it goes though

Just finished reading "The lost symbol", anybody else read this book yet? Loved it, couldnt put it down and kept on wanting to read one more chapter, 500 pages later........ It was a brilliant read and to anyone who likes Dan Browns books go get it! Everyone who doesnt like him and thinks he writes poorly ill save you the bother of typing it because ive heard it all before so would appreciate it if only heard back off people who share my views. Cant be bothered debating and when it comes down to this kind of writing i havent got the intelligence to fight back so people agreeing only please

Got to say i agree with you Kev, its a expensive session yes but you cant grumble with the fish that are in ther what so ever. Its a nice place too, decent pegs ( well most) and are left to it which is what i like, ive only been there once but im sure there will be a couple more visits there over the years. Wont be buying a breakfast there next time though
