This is the spot right under the tree at Ashmire, as you can see its quite firm and clean, ideal to present a bottom bait on tbh, a bit of pre baiting and again that would be glowing golden. I would and did just drop a rig on that, this one was the result 👍

You can definately get a rough picture of what's going on on the lake bed, even from the Deeper plus, this spot after a few casts I decided was a little silty but still quite firm, I haven't rechecked it recently but I've left a good bit of bait on it since and I suspect the top layer will now be a much brighter colour where its been cleaned off,

Talks have begun for another one possibly at linear 😲 I had a look at that one and a few others the raymarine does look good, can't help feeling that I would be better off upgrading the boat to get one rather than fitting one to the actor plus. A deeper chirp is an easier fix for the actor plus and could still be used if the boat stopped working. But I still can't decide if it is a load better than the pro plus 😂

I meant to have a look at your raymarine while we were at the social. I wanted to see how much better than a deeper it was. I've been doing a little research since trying to work out whether it's worth upgrading to a chirp +2 or other sonar such s the raymarine, I have a pro plus presently and it's alright but I can't decide how much better a chirp or other would be.

I found that braid a bit rubbish tbh seemed to snap way too easily. I also tried thicker braid and it destroyed the sonik spod reel, it couldn't handle reeling it back in

I'm a bit obsessive too, I haven't posted my latest set up yet 😳any excuse lol Matrix hockey sticks, MCF bike chains and my beloved Defiant MPS heads Probably not the most functional set I've had but they meet my own vein bobbin fetish requirements at the moment.

My little contribution to the weekends captures along with a tench. Sadly I blanked last night, no wonder the pub chucked at a showing fish mesh bag didn't produce the goods came in looking like that, Cracking weekend though, lovely lake, good to share it with some of you guys, hopefully will get to have a return match sometime. Carp chronicles can be brilliant or headbanging I find. I listened to some of the great debait last night, fried my brain right up and was way too deep for me. I like the baitworks one and the korda one depending who's on it, Nash same it always depends on the guests I think.

I don't think the swims will be that small tbh, the pictures I've seen look pretty spacious, I wouldn't worry too much, My only concern is if I need a front or not, I'm thinking axs shelter at the moment, with new hilux groundsheet 😎
