  1. Made sense to me too, they won't know how many are out there on Saturday and they will probably be everywhere too my inaccuracies are my edge 😁
  2. I guess so, I bet sound deadening shrink tube could be a big seller though, imagine the paranoia that could create 😂
  3. finished it today, was a great listen that one, certainly a proper character
  4. I did see castaway pva are going wholesale BTW, I like there products 👍
  5. Its probably looks like a massive bream 😁
  6. There are lots of other little shops that just sell, terminal tackle, hooks, rig bits, pva etc, clothing, and they all seem to have similar products, what will make yours different,? I know a lot of these seem to sell the same stuff rebranded are you going to sell on ebay, amazon I know most of these also do to drive custom towards there own site, then you have to factor in fees etc, Also you need the bait company you are using to be super reliable, and good, it will give you a bad name quickly if people are let down on there bait and bits for the Weekend Hope this helps
  7. I never find anything cheaper on angling direct, crooked fishing shop imo, I never really use them, they always have loads of sales or offers but it's never the thing you want or the colour you want or the thing on sale is out of stock, I tend to not even look now waste of time
  8. It might not be a problem but I just wondered if the metal clanking noise may be amplified in water, just a consideration really,
  9. I often wonder about all the metal and the klanking underwater and whether it acts like a warning bell to the fish, I can splice avid pindown leader a treat now, hooklink was just too narrow for my chubby fingers 😳
  10. You forgot give carp.commers a healthy discount 😁 I don't mind the urban banx d and b, at least its hard-core, better than all that house music they try and set the scene with more punk music for videos I say 🎧
  11. Fair play, each to there own and all that, but that is one ugly fish, looks like its about to explode 😳
  12. I didn't have the patients for the spliceable hooklink, it does look a nice rig though, Can't help wondering if you could just use a spinner or ronnie rig set up with a d rig kicker and get a similar presentation though might try it, 👍
  13. I've never used either of them tbh, I reckon both would work, bait is a personal thing, I've used baits people swear by and not caught on them, but that's probably not the baits fault, you just have to find one you are confident in, and that usually comes from results not other peoples opinions Good luck
  14. Glad you like them, Its my to and from work listen at the moment, it is funny still got an hour or so to go, keep an eye out for frog alarms 😂🐸😂
  15. That sounds exciting bluelabel, I am also jealous, I listened to the carp fishing podcast with Mark Walsingham ep11 a while ago, sounds an amazing place, well worth a listen if you haven't already, https://baitworks.libsyn.com/carp-fishing-podcast-11-mark-walsingham
  16. I cant believe they are going to make people cast in this heat 😱😱😱😱
  17. I'm using size 4s maybe I need proper shark hooks, they aren't small eyes either, maybe the extreme is just too extreme, will keep having a play though, maybe the non extreme will be better to use, or I can find another use for it, I'm not buying anything else 😂 I already have a few chod filaments and fluoros 😳 maybe next time 😏 That being said the cam h20 that's in the hydrolink is lovely to use just needs bending amd shaping into place,
  18. I'm starting to think I am not dead keen on the hydrolink extreme, I'm probably missing the point or doing something wrong, but if I want to make a simple knot less knot when I go to push it back through the eye the braid doesn't but the fluoro goes through, it's not the most user friendly product I've come across, I do own quite a lot hooklinks this one may also go into the at home tackle box 😳
  19. I've never bought any for this exact reason 😁 They never write on the blurb what flavours they are and that annoys me 😳
  20. I meant on nicks 360 type rig, I'm with you on the hinged one
  21. I'm just guessing but wouldn't you want to remove one so the spool sits closer to the body 😳
  22. What if you used a swivel with a large eye or a swivel with an extra ring, then it would really turn without friction, main concern would be whether or not the tungsten beads would pull through under pressure, if it worked though would certainly give it more freedom to spin 🤔
  23. One thing I did notice about stiff part length is that the longer it is (probably to a certain point) , the trickier it was to eject once it pricked, and the more flexibility (in the curved chod link) it had the longer the hook stayed stuck in my hand, I can't really explain what I mean very well but being really stiff from the double strands of the multi rig loop, made it seem like it would be tougher to eject, i think I am trying to say it is more springy if its a bit longer 😳
  24. With mine when you add the pop up and put it into water it does pull the hook up into a better angle, but I did read that hsr are less effective if the stiff part is too short, as this doesn't allow it to stretch enough when the fish tilts up,
