Tried it out earlier, it's a tidy little boat.
So easy to use and control and glides across the lake and turns on a sixpence.
Doubt if you'd got more than a kilo combined in both hoppers but that's plenty for me.
Not sure what it would be like in very windy conditions as its so light.
It was 8 months old, paid 140 with a nice padded bag.
I like the headlight position, it's raised so should give good visual at night and it's so small and light.
The proof will be tomorrow when I try it out on water.
Did a couple of afternoons at the beginning of the month.
1st afternoon looked barren for Carp so I got the perch rod out.
Second afternoon I found a few carp milling about in the weed so put a nice lump of bread in amongst them.
I've had this done.
The 1st couple of days were a bit sore and a lot of blood but I was fine after about 5 days.
You might be fishing sooner than you think.
At my dad's caravan for the weekend and earlier my daughter said I should go and catch a fish before we go.
So 45 mins later and the biggest mirror in the lake graces my net.
Bit down in weight but who cares.
It all depends what your target is mate.
I've had some nice size roach and rudd on smaller pieces of prawn and smaller hooks but if I'm trying to target the bigger perch then it is big baits and size 4s all the way.
I'd say live bait too but most places ban it and a lot of anglers don't like doing it so I don't really mention it.
Plus when using prawns I've had carp to 20 plus and some nice tench so it makes it great fun on the float rod.
