Tried a part of an arm off the main river this morning but it just looked completely devoid of fish. The main river is raging at the minute and the water is ice cold, i would imagine its all the melt water from the alps. Just getting a kebab and gonna have a few beers and put it down to experience.

No compensation, its a public lake, ive been checking every day for the last month on google and nothing came up. Found one likely spot on the river so will have to give that a go tomorrow.

Been walking the rhone for 2 hours looking for a spot but not really found anything yet. Im gutted.

No poisson chat as far as i know. Crayfish are present so ive got some hard baits just in case the are active mate.

Can you get hold of a hot water bottle?. Dont get me wrong i love tramadol but it only masks and could make it worse if you over do it.

Anyone who is driving to france after the 29th of this month will need an idp to do so. You can pic them up from the post office for £5,50 , just need to take your licence and a passport pic and its done there and then. If you dont do it before the 29th then you will have to take a theory test and a driving test to be able to get the idp.

Just seen a lake in Norfolk has had to close due to being destroyed by otters. It must be absolutley gutting when years of hard work gets destroyed like that.

Sad times mate. Not trying to make a joke out of it but if you ever want a change of scenery you can always have a day with me on my urban paradise. Theres a few predators knocking about but not the furry kind .

Finally got the snow that they have forecast all week. Been down to the lake tonight and it's ice free. Tomorrow is snow carp Saturday.

I'm supposed to be heading down to kent on saturday but weather depending I might just go down the local. Although no decent perch to go at in my local.

There are a couple of nash vids where they are catching carp right next to the eifall tower.

To be fair the reviews on Amazon are really good, I was gonna hire one for France in the summer but it will cost at least a oner for the week. Might as well buy one of these.

I use figure of 8 personally mate, never had any issues with it.
