  1. I'll give you 20 quid for the hand sanitiser lol
  2. Same book with an extra chapter at the end I thought?
  3. That sounds v disappointing mate.
  4. That's news to me. I have Ritchie on Carp. What's the other?
  5. In fairness you're not the only bloke that's said that to me mate.
  6. Yeah it's shot up this past couple of years. I think I paid 60 odd quid😣 Skeff's book A Fool and His Eel is good - a bit different to all the others. A work of art. Ritchie McDonald aint on your list either. Both quite cheap.
  7. Darrel Peck's book is great. He's brutally honest in it. A really good read. Savay by John Harry is a must-read. Forgotten Chapters by Fareham/friends is brilliant if you've not read it. The Chronicles series (Wraysbury, Horton and Savay) are good - especially the Wraysbury one. The History of Yateley books are also good if you like reading about the old Yateley kippers. Looking at your list I suspect you'll already have got some of these tbh.
  8. The first one is half decent. It covers Wraysbury, the 'Brooke etc. The 2nd one is OK, it has the Mere chapter. The 3rd one is OK at best. The 2nd two make you cringe a bit. He talks like he's a victim but you can tell he's anything but. There are much better books out there IMO.
  9. I hate to say it but I find him a little annoying. His appeal for the every day angler to pledge cash to the England carp team left a lot to be desired imo.
  10. That's very light indeed mate. What kind of net is it? I use a Dymag which is said to be the lightest on the market @ 530g.
  11. Awesome! I plan on getting my boy one when he's old/big enough. Me too. Bummer innit.
  12. Yeah man my pride and joy: Fishing gear, bike, family (in that order - joking lol).
  13. Mudgaurds are for girls lol
  14. If you like that you'll love these mate. On the left my Specialized Stumpjumper Carbon Comp, heavily modified. 160 mm travel front and rear, Hope components (rims, hubs, drive train, pedals, stem, clamps etc), Code brakes with 200 mm rotors, Renthal carbon bars etc etc. Almost nowt left as standard. It's the rowdiest Stumpjumper you'll see anywhere. On the right my brothers Trek Remedy Carbon with equally ridiculous specs. Proper light full carbon trail bikes spec'd up for downhill runs. My bike is second only to my fishing gear 😁
  15. Do the minority of perfectly healthy people not count then Nick? Seriously mate. People are dying every hour. The NHS WILL be overwhelmed. We ALL need to do whatever we can to stop this.
  16. I taught my mum how to use video calls a couple of weeks ago too. They will come in very handy.
  17. It was only last year I had a chest contusion after crashing my mtb at Bike Park Wales. Similar crash to what elmo described above actually except it threw me off the side of the mountain lol. It put me out for months - in fact I've only been out properly once since it happened. I couldn't even fish for several weeks as I couldn't push the barrow. Do not fancy going through that again lol.
  18. Yeah I gave up skating after I broke both my ankles doing a set of steps. Moved over to bmx, then to mtb. Finally settled with carp fishing 🤣
  19. 🤣I bet you are😂 I wouldn't fancy it either. We stopped bouncing a long time ago mate lol We had Radlands over in Northampton and Derby Storm. Both class places, we were lucky tbh. But you're right, we didn't have these scooter to contend with lol.
  20. Absolutely class mate. Me and my pals used to build our own ramps when we were kids. We had several kickers dotted around the village and a big old half pipe up the wreck (this was back when you could leave them out without them getting vandalised or nicked lol). When my boy is a little older I hope to follow in your footsteps. Absolutely BRILLIANT mate👍
  21. We are having to sign these for the guys that work in our French office. I am one of 3 guys left onsite in the UK (65 personnel sent home). I am surprised we don't have a similar letter here. If anyone gets stopped by the cops they can come out with any old rubbish to give the impression the travel is essential.
  22. My mrs is losing it too. She has a few medical professionals in her family and let me tell you the info from them indicates the problem is a lot worse than the government make out. I saw Putin gave the Russian public a choice. 15 days indoors or 5 years in prison. I bet they're not down the pub!
  23. Awesome @elmoputney. Great pic too👍
  24. Yeah it's a real bummer. I had to buy a few kilos of CC Moore shelfies to tide me over. I HATE having to stray from my normal baits.
