  1. I know it's early days but it's horrible knowing What's going to happen and then watching it unfold before your very eyes . And I know Bivvy knows where I'm going with this....
  2. lol . I agree TFG stuff has improved out of all recognition lately
  3. Is it the same as the Korum ruckbag ? If so they've ALL ripped Korum off ...
  4. My Drennan catty lasted about 10 minutes and 3 elasticated later decided enough is enough and invested in the ESP's , both the Boilie & particle version . The Team England match catapult which Gary posted a picture of the other day is actually very very good . If you don't mind one bait at a time they go for a very long way . But being a match catty the elastic don't last long when I use em. I thing with catapults it's the same as other items of tackle . Some people swear by lots of stuff that have let me down in the past . I detest certain brands but others swear by them so it's swings & roundabouts .
  5. You might found this useful Dan , in particular the last post http://www.carp.com/topic/21565-cuttle-mill/page-2
  6. Settling down to watch the Chelski game , should be good for a few goals I think ....
  7. Looks a bit dark there mate . Hope you've been eating your carrots
  8. That's a heavy heavy HEAVY album . And good stuff too
  9. Good to hear uncle Danny learnt SOMETHING from me
  10. That match catty is actually the Bizness . One at a time though
  11. ESP . The green boilie pult is the nuts and the orange one for corn/particles . Best I've ever used by miles.
  12. I have both . After using a free spool facility it took me ages to get used to my Big Pits . When I used free spool the other week it felt strange too . I prefer my big pits but yes , horses for courses I Spose and a place for everything . I think beginners tend to get em cos they may seem easier as the fish is usually already hooked . More experienced all round anglers maybe don't consider they need bait runners ? Once again . Each to his own .
  13. Good luck tonight Gal , hope you snare a biggy
  14. Nothing wrong with these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272265710870 And don't forget Leeda own Wychwood
  15. I'm in Nat West at the moment does that count ?
  16. Nice one Gary , I know diagrams like these are easily found on the net but there's not too much on here .
  17. I'm going to not so nicely disagree and say that's a Delkim users snobby answer ( not saying Delk users are tt's of course ). The Fox ones will do you fine and if you want to go REALLY cheap have a look on the bay for a Leeda 2xl bite alarm . I've had mine for donkeys years and it still works fine .
  18. It's not a bad rod to get imo if you are intent on bagging up on small carp on a commercial . If your planning on targeting something a little bit bigger then I'd be getting myself to the tackle shop , having a little feel /play with the rods down there and be getting the best rod you can afford in a 2.75lb test curve . Unless your planing on casting 4oz leads 150 yards + then it will cover you for just about every uk scenario. In my humble of course.
