    Well I sometimes had the bottom bead 2ft from the lead and the top bead well way from that so maybe that's the difference with a naked Choddy set up . Do most people using heli set ups have the beads close together so the hook length actually can't move along the line/leader ?

    Always good to hear of an angler so open minded when it comes to different situations Adam but do you not agree that a Chod has to be fished slack and is a helicopter set up ?

    Strangely enough we had a few young chickens that mostly turned out to be roosters so we had to get rid of em ( an old pigeon fancier friend of my dads did the deed for me ) but not before SOMETHING had got into the cage and ripped the guts out of one of them . Yuk . Even stranger , I have no interest in birds or animals of any kind except those with fins . I just get lumbered with all the jobs that involve getting out of bed early

    Being forever skint myself I have to agree with Nick re the line . Neither he mentioned will let you down and I reckon the bright coloured line thing is a gimmick

    In the price bracket you are looking at I can recommend the Daiwa Emcast Evo's . Bullet proof . And when you want to upgrade they are ideal for Spod and Probably Marker work as well . Tough as old boots with the trademark Daiwa quality

    Hi Dan , the ones on the left are miniature Appleyards and the 2 on the right are Mandarins . The duckling is an Appleyard . Appeared from the incubator about 10 days ago.

    Well we have got a proper menagerie taking shape here . Couple of months ago she came home , unannounced , with these ffs .... Then a couple of weeks ago THIS appeared as if by magic .... Note what it left on the carpet Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Maybe Cameron and his lickers of a uk government should pay to have all the Aussie Carp removed and brought over here , where they are treated a LITTLE better , via a period in isolation of course , in order to replace all the British Carp that their precious cuddly little Otters have murdered ?

    Didn't see the game but I read that Sevilla were as good in the second half as Liverpool were in the first . Seville will probably win it again next season.

    8/10 for us Stevo , a bit of a disappointing finish to the season but Uncle Slaven has given us our Weat Ham back and compared with the last 5 years it's like we won the league . And nice to see the Gunners finally came good when it mattered

    The one thing I AM afraid of , and Stevo may like to chip in with this one , Bilic and Sullivan seem to fancy Benteke . I know he proved he can do it at Veeeela but for the money/wages rumoured to be involved I'd rather stick with AC .
