  1. if your hangers r set right you still get a drop back using flying back leads
  2. not sure if im alound to do this but look at fatcarp.com click on OTHERS then on MEMBERS RIGS its called the quick change that what i was trying to explain hope it helps but u wont need the rig ring on it and u can trap your hair on shank of hook with shrink tube
  3. just tie a loop then , then when you get there thread the loop thro the eye of hook with pre tied hair on and pass hook back thro loop job done:D
  4. im using both at the same time i think simonwwfc is as well ???? hybrid is both IQ is just fluorocarbon but for some reason korda have hybrid plastered on loads of stuff
  5. beanz

    korda maggot clip

not seen em yet but a paper clip does the job and u can pick the colour to match
  6. thats intresting as on my local i started the season on leadcore and bagged loads but after landing a carp with a lifted scale i switched back to tubing and havent matched the catch rate but not sure if spawning had anything to do with it
  7. may be , or tie swivel to lenght of line then thread feeder on tie off and super glue it that works as iv done it as a run rig on korda n fox inline feeders
  8. id do it that as well as its the simplest way.just make sure its the right size swivel
  9. its ok if the carp feed tail up but if not sure id have it longer about 5in
  10. are you not confident in your knots ?? as the swivel shouldnt pass through the feeder
  11. the are 3 knots i think every angler should know 1) knotless knot 2) overhand loop or overhand loop twisted 180 to make figure of 8 3) palomar
  12. im not sure your catch more but its cheaper to make your own
  13. could be your hooklink what are you using?
  14. its hard to say, as to be fare to each rig you need a time machine to put back in the same situation and as for tangles are you using tubing?
  15. i still not convinced that fish could tell the differance between a normal hair rig or d ring and think the withypool rig needs the carp to come on to the bait from the right direction so id never use it. but what i want to know is does any one fishing a top lake use a simple rig? as i reckon the fish get caught on these new rigs as the isnt a simple rig out there to be caught on
