I tend to take a small amount of pva nuggets just enough to use for the session I put them in a zip lock bag. The spare pva refills go in there also. ..... where’s the flask going ?

I like the the look of swim 6 got a bit of room trees to the right if no ones in 5 cast a rod tto the island. How did it go ?

I use to buy the occasional carpworld mag and especially enjoyed the overseas articles I think carp angling is still on the up only got to see Linear fishery as proof gets so packed There’s so much online content why buy a mag. Still sad to see the mag go under tho.

If your just after a bit more stability you can buy clamp on adjustable legs for your bed from eBay singles about £10 and Abode do a double around £15.

Luckily I won the toss picked that swim. The swans made it difficult with there long necks but tight up against the island I found slightly deeper water and had 2 low twenty’s from there very pretty fish had them on cell.. We blanked the second visit. The owner is a carper he designed and dug it. Shrubs are planted all round the lakes lovely place in the summer. They had dug a new lake when we fished it and were waiting for it to filll up. Sorry went on a bit 🙄 Highly recommended

It was at Furzebray Devon there’s a island to the right and in front of the swim. Lovely place small and intimate.... the only lake me and my mate whispered as we walked around
